Well I am in the home stretch. I have finally mapped all the textures for the stations and now I only need to make them. With 10 models left to texture and 1 to build I am hoping by the end of the year to have all the models done for the Earth faction. With a beta release shortly thereafter.
The initial release will be a bare bones release, it will work but won't have an AI or many bells and whistles. But it will be workable.
I am looking for someone who wishes to help in the coding of this and any other project I plan to work on. Remember this is for FO and so someone with some experience in actually modding FO is required, emphasis on balance here. Also a graphic artist who can do weapon textures, as the stock FO ones will look out of place on ENT era ships. I plan to have the red plasma cannon style weapons as seen in the Broken Bow (the pilot episode). Please PM me if you're interested in either job. The coder won't be needed until after I get the models complete, so probably the end of the month or beginning of the new year, the GFX Artist can start right away. As always I am not in a mad rush so if volunteers wish to start after the holiday season that is fine.

Starbase
Starting unit, only one can be built at any given time.
Outpost
Smaller version of the Starbase, built as outposts in far flung sectors. In-game the player can build as many as they like.
Refinery
Basic mining station.
Coalition Station
Warp-in station, feature will be disabled in the initial release. Eventually it will warp in Interstellar Coalition units such as Vulcan, Andorian and Tellarite ships, plus a few minor allied ships.
Alternatively warps in the Yorktown and Ares classes. Those two will be available in the initial release, through this station.
Shipyard
Builds the ships and repairs them.
Warp 5 Complex
Builds the ships, and doubles as a research station.
