This next one came from another artist untextured. We'd worked together in the past to make a shipset based on the STO Caitian designs, and this one was intended to be a Starfleet/Caitian hybrid. Hopefully you can see the influences from STO's Caitians.

It's intended to be post-Nemesis in terms of operational timeframe. I've dubbed it the Ferox class:

WOW! :y That is a radical new design. Do I see a little Defiant, dominion, and Son'a design influences in there? I like it!

Heh only the Defiant is intentional. The inspiration was STO's latest Sabre class refits. But I can definitely see the likeness.

The next set is 2/3 based on STO's designs and 1/3 on an interpretation of a super-tiny-in-background re-used model... The Tuterian, or "Sphere Builders".

In order of size we have the Arehbes class Destroyer, the Gelvik class Heavy Cruiser and the Denuos class Fleet Command Cruiser:View attachment 21198TuterianBottom.pngTuterianSide.pngTuterianFront.pngTuterianRear.pngTuterianFrontTop.pngTuterianRearBottom.png

Continuing on from the Delphic Expanse related content... I started expanding my roster of Xindi ships.

Insectoids stumped me for a while until I found a great model to use as a template for some (serious) re-texturing and rebuilding:
XinRepTop.pngXinRepBottom.pngXinRepSide.pngXinRepFront.pngXinRepRear.pngXinRepTopFront.pngXinRepBotRear.png

From largest to smallest:

Titanoboa class Dreadnought.
Eunectes class Battleship.
Liasis class Cruiser.
Contortrix class Heavy Escort.
Annulifera class Frigate.

On the other hand, once the Xindi Aquatic look *clicked* I found myself having a lot of fun with them:
XinAqTop.pngXinAqBottom.pngXinAqSide.pngXinAqFront.pngXinAqRear.pngXinAqTopFront.pngXinAqBotRear.png

From largest to smallest, we have:
Mobulai Battlecruiser. STO's version was a big help given how little there was from the episodes it appears in.
Elbali Destroyer. I wanted this to have a vaguely octopus look to it, in contrast to the Dreadnought's squid design.
Transport Ship (unnamed). Vague killer-whale motif I think.

Taking a short break from Xindi stuff to finish texturing another Caitian hybrid ship that a colleague modelled recently. This time it's a Klingon-Caitian variant, which I've named the Jej'pach class:

Thanks! Was a lot of trial and error to get the lighter panels not looking too... out of place.

Back to Xindi now, and I've fleshed out the Xindi Insectoids a tad:

XinInsTop.pngXinInsBottom.pngXinInsSide.pngXinInsFront.pngXinInsRear.pngXinInsTopFront.pngXinInsBotRear.png

From largest to smallest (well, not counting the last ship):

Heliolus class Dreadnought - sort of inspired by the Insectoid ship concept art.
Vizets class Battlecruiser
Olean class Destroyer
Castroi class Scout
Tsekail class Attack Fighter
Construction Ship

Hello:
Those ships look sexy, specially the larger ones... but quite a pain I bet to get done as low-poly, hehehe.

The latest heatwave in England kind of slowed down progress on some stuff I wanted to get done before the weekend... but got there in the end! Showing some in-engine renders this time of a Xindi starbase with multiple progression levels, in the Aquatic æsthetic:
XinAquOutpost.pngXinAquStarport.pngXinAquStarhold.pngXinAquStarfortress.pngXinAquCitadel.png

Used a vague-ish jellyfish design for it. If I was spending more time on it, I might make the second stage a little larger to reduce the differential between the first and third stages.

Now I just need to do the same again for the other four...

Hello:
That is quite the starbase! And it seems there is a revival of Starbases getting upgrades like how it was in vanilla "SW:EaW"

Thanks!

Been taking an aside lately to revisit some Qomar stuff I started yeeears back but gave up due to the poor quality of the available reference material. Turns out that Eaglemoss' Delta Quadrant book had some alternative views which really helped.

The Qomar appeared in Virtuoso in Voyager with a pretty diverse roster of four ships and a starbase. This is the smaller of the bunch - what I've labelled the Index class Scout:

I was fortunate enough to be given access to some partially finished models from the amazing Kharak (https://www.deviantart.com/kharak-art). I've been using the new refence material to tweak, and texturing them. The first of which I'm calling the Operand class Light Cruiser:
1661871736372.png

Should have a few more finished in the near future, and TBH I'm tempted to revisit the Index class to align it more with the texturing I used on the Operand.

Man, these continue to be excellent!

I wonder if I could request something? I've always wanted a trek-ish version of the Tarka Dreadnought from Sword of the Stars...
I'm having an incredibly hard time finding a screenshot though, I might have to start up the game for an example. The game has you building the ships from Bridge, Hull, and Engine segments so 3d models of the full ships don't exist independently.

Thanks Tryptic! Probably worth being upfront that between job, baby and my own mod project I don't really have time to do non-Trek stuff right now.

Continuing the Qomar theme, finished up the model for the last canon ship of theirs. Just need to texture it now.
