Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.
Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.
We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.
Yes, it does. Screencaps are saved as .jpgs in C:\ Programs ( x86)\ Cryptic Studios\ Star Trek Online\ Live\ screenshots folder. And since I have a few more, I'll post them.Nice!:Y Does the game automatically remove UI?
That is k_merse's. I think he ported it over from BC. I do know he spent a great deal of time reworking the mesh and placing the hardpoints correctly. You'll not find a better Akira anywhere, IMO.Thats a purty Akira T, who made it?
Indeed. I have backup copies in .zip and .rar formats of everything I've ever done. Along with copies of the more interesting and well done mods which have caught my eye over the years. I also have a copy of my last custom install. This all comes to about 10.3 GB in size. I've no idea at all what size it would be if all of the files were unzipped. I wanted to see if I could make the Demo work with all of the addons I have. But two maps and some sound files are not really all that many mods, are they? Nor did any of these require any significant effort or skill on my part. I find map making easy and enjoyable. I spent maybe four hours working on each map. The sound stuff came about mostly because I was ticked off I couldn't get the ambient sounds to work for some of the Twelve Colonies planets I did. Took about five minutes to figure out why. Took about two hours to find the right sound effects to start from and then took about forty five minutes per sound to get them to what I sent in.Uploaded. I find it rather ironic that you have submitted so many A2 mods recently despite not currently having A2, lol.
