Looks great, I am really liking it. :)

As for the Gallery, due to the crash, I won't be able to get to it till the weekend. Sorry about that.

I like that B5 ship, very nice and solid lines.

Same as all the stargate pic's; very nice quality and lighting

One question though, how do you start meshing these though; I've no experience with Lightwave but if it were max I'd assume you'd use primitives with some extrusions, bevels and the like, Is this so?

Probably wrong but it's the best way I know of to model pretty much anything that isn't a Startrek ship

Thank you.

For my hard surface models I start off with a square or rectangle and I have a knife tool which added more segments into the model. I shape the box and merge other parts onto it to make up the basic shape. Once thats done it's just a matter of making the details and adding them onto the base model.

I must say I am liking this class more than the original Prometheus. I would expect that if the show started off with this class instead of the Prometheus they may of never destroyed the ship.

True, true. Its a great looking ship, I am especially fond of the command tower, so much better than the original Prometheus's command tower.

I know how you feel, the original tower always feel way to bulky making the ship feel top heavy.

OMG I love the engines, and I didn't realise there was that much of a bottom section to the ship, that's pretty awesome. :D

Yeah I'm happy with how they turned out but I still have a lot of work to do in that area.

I guess I just haven't showed the bottom off much since I haven't been doing much work on it till now.

Beautiful ship... looks better than the Daedalus from the series.

In my opinion, lighter shades of gray should be used. The BC-304's are all made of a really dark material that can be quite hard to see, no modellers thought though; that's what it looks like in the series.

Favourite parts: the bow with the middle part protruding and the engines with the segmented exhaust ports.

It must have taken a while to get this far, I applaud you for it

Well right now the ship is not textured so any colors are just place holders for different texture maps that will be applied. The hull will have 3 types, base hull, armor, and darker armor.

I would be farther along but I’ve only been working on it on weekends and I did take time away from this ship to finish my Daedalus model.

Looking great RJB, I will be looking for an updated one when you complete the Tempest so she and your Daedalus can appear beside the Excalibur and Ares.

Oh and nothing major but there is a typo in models i the credits part.

Still you do awesome wallpapers.
