Hello:
And thanks for the replies. I was hoping to post those pics while still in the correct day. Later (maybe not today though) I will make more models from the serie, the list is larger than I first expected (or remembered), but those are nice designs that I always liked.

Hello:
I've been quite silent lately, that is mostly to university and the assigments it gives us all.

Here I post two pics I took today, the Eagle Transporter (with the most common Transport Module) and a Mark IX Hawk. The Hawk been the combat sibling of the Eagle as seen in the episode "War Games".

I will make more ships from the serie, I like how the developers made a common style for Earth ships so they will be quickly recognizable.
I hope you'll all like the ships.

Hello:
And thanks for the comments:excited:.

I plan to work on more units, it is very nice that all Earth ships have a similar design base.

I began working on the Swift a little while ago, but I canot get the shape of the head section to look accurate... yet, but I'll keep trying :).

Hello:
I wasn't sure if to wait for me to make another new model in addition to my new addition (ehhh... what?), but I think I will make a little update nevertheless.

In season2, a very nice Earth ship appeared, the Swift. A fleet of four of those ships plus a mothership, went into a mission and then all contact was lost. Then there was one surviving Swift, with a strange passenger  .

Ohh boy, a quake, it is over now though....

More updates will come soon. Right now I am only making the models, they are not ready for ingame yet.

Looking good Chile. I too sometimes only make the models but don't get around to hardpointing them. However the other night I did like 8 hardpoints on various Cardassian designs I have done in the past but never completed.

Hello:
It must feel good to complete those models you had stored Majestic. Are those the Cardassian ships that were released and are now here?

More Space:1999 ships will be made, and then, I will make my very own Moonbase Alpha :excited:.

No they aren't, these ones are for the mod I am trying to finish up. The ones released will of course also be included, albeit some are updated. :)

Hello:
Well, I have seen some pics from your mod majestic, and I can say that it is good to see you have more ships and that you'll include updated versions of others.

---

I have some sad news: Kel333 had to abandon all of Armada modding due to very bad real-life problems (I will not be more specific), he was part of the Battlestar Armada mod project and he was the one that made the missile trails and a very awesome FTL effect.

I really hope his life will get better for him very soon :( .

Hello:
Things have been quiet around here lately and I apologize because of that, but I have said before, university has kept me very busy.
Still, some little time ago I was able to make a big update on my Space:1999 fleet, the new additions are the Laser tank, the Ultra Probe, the Meta Probe.
I hope you'll like them:).

In my next update, I will show my male Leviathan, based on the design made for the Leviathan Cilla, shown in the Farscape comics  .

Hello:
And thank you very much for the replies people :excited:.
Still, none of the Space:1999 are ingame yet, as they will be very tiny and I still need to rescale them. But I guess I will have to do the scale before I start the MoonBase Alpha model. The base will be mostly unarmed, so maybe some of the tanks could be around to fire at enemy targets and buy you time to build Eagles. An idea of mine is to make a story of what happened on Earth, the rebuilding efforts and the eventual building of a base on Mars, as a mega-project of colonization and terraforming of the planet, while aslo keeping the base as a staging ground for other missions, like Alpha once was before the Moon was blasted out of orbit.
I already thought of a logo for the base on Mars, and some other ideas too :).
As for Farscape, I thought of waiting until tomorrow to post some pics, do you all want me to post the pics now?

Hello:
Well, Leviathans can wait for a bit as I have something big planned (big... literally).

As for BSG, before I release the Talos, I need your opinion people. I have designed a build-button and a wireframe and I'd like to know what do you think.

:Y Must...Have...!!!!! Dude, I never even saw the back half of the talos. It looks amazing. Like a stealth-star.

And the yard... Nothing to say really, it is amazing and you have just got to release them.

Hello:
And thank you people. Maybe this means the build-button and wireframe ideas are right.

About the yard... well, that might be the only section of the Scorpion Fleetyards that Kreeargh did not make (it is the island structure just in front of Pegasus, it is better seen in Razor and in the Fleetyards layout), so I think it is kind of a exclusivity (insert super ebil face and laugh here), and I use it as colyard1.

About the Talos been a Stealth-like Battlestar, it makes sense due to the dark hull, so I'll look forward to any ideas for this ship¡s abilities that could be added once released (I suppose not backwards because that would delay the release even more).

Hello:
And thank you :).
The ship has 1745 polies with no turrets. I thought you people might like to know that.

As for the ship's rear area, I must thank Epytron_Omega for his help.

Liking the battlestar, the yard and the wireframe, good job
Not so fond of the build button to be honest, I prefer the classic type. I think the problem is the contrast, it's a very dark background with a dark ship (other than the yellow that is lol). But still, very artistic.

Why is it, when people show screenshots with the gui and buttons visible, I always run my mouse over the buttons expecting them to light up like they would in-game?? lol

Anyway, looking good Chiletrek. I too like the Talos Class.

I quite like the new button. Pretty funky. Although, if it was me, I would go one step further and put an alpha chanel on the black surrounding part so its not visible. Although you could argue it would be even harder to see against the background. Either way, I like it:thumbsup:

Perhaps adding a blue glow or something to the ship will make it stand out more. :)

Great stuff as always Chile, the Talos looks amazing, as does the shipyard.

Nice work with the button and wireframe as well, though maybe making the buildbutton background a dark shade of grey rather than black would make the ship a little easier to see?

Either way, I am eagerly awaiting the release of this awesome stuff :)

You have NO idea... And it gets even worse. Everytime I watch an A2 vid I immediately want to move the mouse to imitate the cursor movement... helpz?

:lol2: I always try to move my mouse to the edge of the screen expecting the game to react and move the 'camera angle'.

Hello:
I must admit that I have also been tempted to press the build-buttons in pics so I can start building stuff :lol2:.

For the button, I did make an alpha-channel (white where the ship and the Colonial Seal are and black for the rest) but it is not working, did I miss something here?:help:. Once that gets fixed (and I'd like it to be fixed) I don't know how to do Majestic's suggestion of the glow around the ship. Majestic, can you help me on that one? :D.

But I think I can also release a version of the button with the classic stock background (that I made some months ago), so players can choose which button to add.

EDIT: I just found out why the alpha channel would not work. I noticed that the alpha channel does work for special weapon buttons, so I figured that they should have an extra line of code, and I found it, the line is:
@tmaterial=interface
and it must be added below the @reference=64 code
