Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.
Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.
We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

I have to create a new set of physics for her. I also want her be able to build all the Fed fighters available currently. I have also tweaked the ODF slightly because something this size should be able to engage multiple targets at once. The Point Defense Systems should also be able to engage multiple targets as well. Here is the list of names I am currently using.

I was wondering. How is she playing out for all of you as far as in game play ?
The reason I ask I no longer have A2 as such have no way of know how she is playing out.
This ship is ridiculous in stock A2. It fills the whole screen, can use scouts with tachyon grids in mass formations, and has a fairly decent weapons and special-weapons complement of its own. And it looks utterly cartoonish to build in a yard. I had to assign it to a conship rather than a yard and it took me five attempts to actually get it built, because the conships kept getting killed in the time it took to build. Navigation was problematic in sections of maps with any sort of obstacle, whether planet or asteroid or whatever, and trying to get the ship into firing position was a frustrating experience, especially around a Cardassian base in the corner of a map. With a dilithium moon in the way, the Seraphim wouldn't fit very easily. I had to use three-dimensional thinking. And it probably would've been easier (and cost about the same!) to use sixteen Sovereigns with corbomite reflectors on. At least it would've been easier to fix afterwards. Watching the game trying to path Seraphim into a repair yard was a two-and-a-half facepalm experience.
It's a pretty ship, and I really tried to get it to work in-game, as provided. Maybe if I used it as a sort of 'mobile starbase', building conships as well as fighters, I might have better results. It's not an unimpressive sight, either. Watching as the Seraphim and its Defiant-class escorts handled a whole Klingon fleet-sized charge all by themselved. But I don't think the stock game can handle objects of this size unless they're stationary or for visual effect only.
Let me just say that there is not a ship in fleet ops that stands a chance against this ship. it lays waste to all. and with some deveststing special weapons thet i put on it (Fed hypr space artly, quantum resonce charges) and some wicked awesome torp effects, there ain't anything she can't do. love it

dose she have fighters in the A2 version?
If not this could help firing position Problem the Fighter could go in and she could lay down cover fire to protect the fighter from other ships defiance stations extra. given they should be part of her she is a carrier.
