• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

What is the most memorable thing that happened to you today?

Memorable? well this one is more like Annoying.

Been Working on My New Mod for Armada 2, and i add in a new ship. the Game Crashes when i go to test it. i try to fix it. then go and test it again. the game crashes again. so i go back and try to fix it AGAIN, and Guess what? the game Crashes AGAIN! repeat 3 more times, and then i give up and use a different ship instead.

yeah Frustrating.

Last night my nephew had a fever induced seizer. Was called into the other room as he had stopped breathing, lips turning blue, eyes rolling into the back of his head, and jerking. Immediately called 911 and got some help. Got him to the hospital and found out he had the flu. He is home now. Tonight I helped put him to sleep. First time he has ever fallen asleep while I was holding him.

I worked outside all night long. Watching all the severe weather go 5 miles north of my city. About 30 minutes after I got home it finaly moved in and hit here. But by 5:30am it was not that bad. Atleast no twisters.

I went to get the oil changed in my van yesterday and when they checked the VIN number on the van. I found out that it has a Flexible fuel engine. Now I can go find out what is needed to make sure I can run the Flex Fuel in it. Then I can save 40 cents a gallon.

I was scared into consciousness this morning by strange dream involving my best firend and a girl neither one of us is terribly interested, not to mention we both have girlfriends, who was trying to decide which one of us she loved more... she picked me... I woke up, thankfully, as she tried to kiss me... Then I realized I was running late for church.

So I'm thinking that God was feeling particularly mischievous this morning and thought that would be a good way to get me up... It worked... But now I'm not sure I want to go to bed tonight.

I been battling poisin ivy for the first time in my life the last 36 hours. Almost got it taken cat of. I also went to hopital last night with severe chest pains. Had a CAT scan run since it is the second time in 12 months it happened. They found nothing wrong. Guess I have the joy of looking forward to inflamation of the chest wall almost once a year. Then after that I went straight to work. fun.

They have airshows around here once or twice a year. When they do they have many planes fly over my house. That includes getting to watch C-130s fly some pretty cool manuevers.

^ I wish we still had airshows here. Our air force used to have some really great stuff during the 1960's-1980's. The PhAF Blue Diamonds Demo Squadron used to rock back then, but due to budget cuts and other ****, the Philippine Air force has been really degrading in quality over the past decade. It's so crappy now that we rely on s.211 training craft for basic air defense.:x For a jet lover like me, that's total bullcrap.

But it's not that bad, we still have a decent force to defend the country.

Anyway, the memorable thing that happened to me today........

- I finally finished playing the campaign in Ace Combat 5

I chest pains only seem to get worse. The doctor said my heart was fine. But whatever the pain is it is right around my heart. Maybe all the stress I have held in from the last 10 years is finally getting to me. Because of the pain I have become extremely irritable. So, I have removed myself from being around people.

my highlight was my parents coming to see me, rather randomly, this may not seem like much of a deal, but i would like to point out that its a 600 mile round trip, and they came to see me for the day.

The best thing that happened to me today is that it is Friday and that means no uni tomorrow and I have Sunday off of work! I don't know what to do with myself! Weeeeee

P.S. Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't been around for a while, I have no excuses other than uni work and being lazy... :)

Most memorable thing for me. First off is this site upgrade. Truely awesome. Second. On tuesday realized I had a major infection in my gums. Went to the Emergency Room (ER later in the post). I saw a doctor and they said they understood I was broke. After waiting many hours. They came back. Showed me the Meds they could give me for it. Then told me I had to pay 100 upfront for the visit or not get them. So, instead they refered me to a clinic that they did not know the address of, hours of operation, nor did they know if the number they remembered was correct. So, my only choice was self medicate. Thursday Both some friends and I noticed my neck was starting to swell up. So, once again I made a trip to the ER. A different one this time. They gave me meds. Only problem is the Meds knock me out all day and it is a fight to stay awake on the job. I drive everywhere on my job. Good news is the pain and swelling are slowly going down. And I can still open my mouth atleast 1/2 inch. So, I can still eat. LOL

The most memorable for me today was: A Solar Eclipse! :excited: :excited: :excited:

It's my very first time that I have seen a solar eclipse, and even though the sun was covered only 35 % by the moon on it's max, it was truly a memorable experience. :D

Downloading the update for GT5p, and then getting rather annoyed when I saw the new Top Gear section of the videos bit.

1, They divide the episode up into 2 parts, and charge you for both.
2, They cost 69p, and that's the special offer price.
3, You can only view it for 14 days, and only in the game, and only on the PS3 you bought them on.

I don't see this taking off some how.

My most memorable thing I did today. I had to drop my dear friend Crazyfrog off at the local mall. From there he got shipped to another town. From which he will head to another state to do his BCT. I do wish him all the best but I'm going to miss my dear friend.

Most memorable thing that happened today for me resolves around sitting in Nashville trying to get in to see a lady about moving to Ireland and changing my name so I can start over anew.

It's either that or..another alternative..which I will not go into.

Anywho.. Doctor McCoy had a point in STIV, "The bureaucratic mentality is the only constant in the Universe."

If it weren't for the fact that there were about a hundred security guards standing around, I'd probably have flipped out and impaled myself on my carkeys.

And my hours at work got cut AGAIN. So..
