Ok time for an overal projct update.

As most of you know I recently had some OS trouble and in repairing that problem there was a small amount of data corruption. Unfortunatly My favorite and most moded Personal install was bricked beyond repair by this so I have begun the process of rebuilding that install. This means recreating a great deal of unreleased material. Not somthing I ever want to have to do again so this means a bit of reoganisation of priorities and will mean both a wider assortment of ships coming out but also some delays on the larger TMP packs. They contain alot of ships and so take a great deal more time to polish up and get right. But I am going to be trying to spit my modding time evenly over both the rebuild and the TMP stuff.

Work is proceeding on Excelsior but I don't have any ingame stuff yet. But that is not the only ship I have been working on

That Galaxy is impressive, only think that it's hull texture should be darker

Its the SNS texture on P81s hull and the lighting in milkshape sucks. She should look 100% better ingame

Work continues we have about half of the Excelsiors up and running. I am also planing to introduce a new set of TMP phaser sprites and more cannon torpedo sounds. I want to thank Jetfreak ahead of time. His phasers turned me onto a special phaser animation he used which mack these phasers possible. trust me they look better in person then in the pics. Also been detailing the Galaxy and doing the final texture tweeks befor hardpointing.

Thanks I'm exploring alternate options for Phaser and Photon coding in an atempt to produce more cannon looking visual effects without resorting to FO. Got nothing against FO I'm just not done with stock yet

well..since you helped me out so much with my model mapping. haha im not done yet btw.. Id be willing to share my phaser and torpedo textures with you.. My phaser texture is particularly awesome because it uses multiple layers to get the perfect effect. Lemme know if you want me to share them with you

Thanks just out of curiosity what are the type 1,2,and 3 phasers for?

small shuttles, fighters, runabouts if you want them for...i like to be thourough... if Starfleet uses Type 7,8,9,10 and 12 phasers, then there must have been a type 1,2,3,4,5,6 all different applications. The Consititution Class runs a Type 6 Phaser from the TOS era, the Connie refit is a Type 7 Bank and the Excelsior is a Type 8 Bank.. when the Lakota was refit in DS9 she had Type 9 banks sooo i like to make sure everything is there LOL

Well the Excelsior Class Development Project is nearing completion As you can see it is another feast of variants and heros. We also have some new phaser sprites for which I Thank Jetfreak whos original TMP phasers showed me the sprit to use, The guys over at BC Central who help me decode their TMP phasers which inspired this new look and Capt Sisko for the TLE/TNG phaser textures. JetFreak also deserves praise as you all know since his tweeked Excelsior textures served ast the base on which this pack was built. The pics should tell the tail for ya

Looks good big man... good work indeed. I like how you referenced the Tiho from Mr. Scotts Guide to the Enterprise and made her an Excelsior instead of a Connie.. even though you changed the spelling sorta.. Superb work indeed!!!! Can't wait to download

And the Blanks for both standard and B Type hulls for all the eras Also there are the improved sprites and files for the Phasers and tweeked torpedo files. The weapons changes effected several of the prevously released Constitution hulls so I have included the updated ship odfs as a mini patch. You will need the Constitution pack for several Photon torpedo sprites not included in this pack. The TMP era torpedo sounds hava also been updated and now use either the ST II/III or ST VI sounds.

Yea I used Yorktown for the Enterprise A to better explain why she was retired after so short a lifespan and was in need of original Excelsior names.

Never been a fan of the turquoise/aqua colour of the Excelsior II's (aka Lakota and Enterprise) personally, but it's nice to see you've added it for the canon feel. I also see the detail of the TMP Excelsior's warp grills being back and the TNG ones being glowing blue.

Yea thats why I did a blue one and made Ingraham grey. On the other details I used Jet's work as a map.
