That "unknown" class looks like a TOS or Pre-TOS NX class refit.:D

Yeah the idea behind it was something like that, well I have basically finished it now as well as done another ship and I am now working on a starbase.

I think I am going to call this ship the Locknar class, as it does look a lot like the FASA Locknar, just with my own personal touch.

And introducing the Broadmeadow class, named after a suburb near where I live and where my old job used to be.

The broadmeadow actually started off as a TOS Constellation class but with the four nacelles it was up to over 2000 pollies so I decided to turn her into something a little less on the pollies as I was planning on her to be a smaller version of the Constitution.

Since I took those images I have completed texturing on her so that is another model to put in my hardpointing list.

Now your starting to see the dilemma that all modelers go through when making quality models for gaming.

Now I have on crit on that last model. The necks that connect the hulls to the saucer look a bit too thick.

Yeah I think you may be right there, I will have to reduce it in size (thickness) before I hardpoint it, thanks for pointing that one out for me. :)

Look forward to seeing it.

New starbase? Excellent! I've always wanted a brand new tOS base. Great looking ships by the way, I'm liking the Loknar. :)

Well since there is such an interest in the starbase here is a WIP of her. I am not entirely sure if I want the four external cylinders or only the two, opinions on that would be most helpful.

With the four cylinders she is a shade under 3000 pollies, but it's a starbase not a starship so that size is fine with me. I will be using the same texture maps (as the ships), or something close to texture her.

After this one I will no doubt be tackling K7.

The four external cylinders on the starbase are a nice touch. :) Are you planning to add space doors on that thing?

Considering MS3D can't do animations, well export them, the answer is no. The big gap in the middle is where the utility vessels are constructed and the docking port location (if the player decides to use it).

Love all the new models. Especially the NX-class refit thingy. I was actually thinking the other day what she would look like in TOS style. Very nice.
Also looking forward to seeing the starbase finished. Definately looks good with the 4 pods, although you could quite easilly make a version with only 2 for an outpost or something.

Actually I already have an outpost design that I will model a little later. I may make two variants although as you suggest, that way it allows people to choose for themselves which they prefer.

This afternoon I finally decided to tackle another race, the Romulans and as of only a few minutes ago finished texturing the Romulan Bird of Prey I modelled earlier this afternoon. She is also only 798 pollies, perfect for a massed produced cruiser. :)

The textures are by Thomas the Cat, a SFC3 community member but thus far I have been unable to get in contact with him/her due to all the links in the readme broken and no email address supplied so most likely my Romulan ships won't be publicly available. :(

I still need to do some welding on the model and some minor mesh alterations but apart from that she's finished. :)

Looks great Majestic, where do you get all the textures from or do you make them yourself and if so what do you use?

It is a shame that the Armada exporter doen't support MS3D's animation.

Oh, can you make a constellation like model with this, please? (you know the four nacelle model)

I use StarfleetCommand3 textures and usually try to find the one set and use them on all models I can. Also ones where I can get permission are the ones I use.

It is a shame that the Armada exporter doen't support MS3D's animation.

My thoughts exactly but I think Starfox is trying to do something about that.

I am sure I can but it will be ober the 2000 polly mark, which I feel is a little high for a massed produced cruiser.

Thanks Knight, I plan on doing an entire Romulan TOS fleet like I am doing with the Federation and her mirror counterparts. I even plan on doing some mirror Romulans as well.

Hi poly count is ok with me as long as its a cool ship, you can always make it something that doesn't get produced much. 'Sides its hard to find nice TOS ships, my mod needs more.

I will see what I can do for you then. I do plan on eventually hardpointing all my models but at the moment I just want to model and texture them, build the skills up and what not. :)

I plan on doing more Romulans and I do have a couple of designs in mind, plus the Stormbird (D7 Class). As for a project, nope I got Yesteryears, Red Ash, MSFC Dominion mod and so on so, got enough of them, these will be single releases or mod packs which will allow people to make a mod out of them if they wish.

Thanks Knight, in fact today I have started work on a new Federation starship class, a small cruiser.

Also as far as the mod/model packs goes, if someone does want to make a mod, they are welcome to contact me and I will provide my models for such an endeavour.

Then I'm bumping and asking: with your withdrawal from Armada modding following recent events, will these models still be released?

I for one certainly hope so!
