• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

    Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

    We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Just thought I'd start a thread to show what I'm up to lately. Have had the urge to start modelling again recently, and finally sat down today and made a start.

Hopefully more will follow shortly.

This is the Alliance Longbow-class patrol cruiser from Serenity.

A bit of both. Think of it as a flying starbase: Lots of space for pasengers and some nice fighters on board. Quite large, too, supposedly it's more than 750m high.
(Oh noes, now everybody knows that I'm a browncoat...)

Nice to see you doing some A2 modding again, Old Man. Even nicer the models are from Firefly. These will be installed about an eyeblink after you release them.

These are really nice - I was waiting for someone to do the models from Firefly - I already have Serenity floating around somewhere...

I really wish I had the time to play more... :(

Glad you're all liking it so far. Not in the mood for texturing yet (I hate that part), so another model today.

Another one from Serenity. This one is the Victoria-class Alliance command ship, that leads the Alliance fleet against the Reavers.
A tough little ship to build this one. Took about a day and a half to get right.

Nice work mate, great. I can share your feeling about not being in a texturing mood. I am like that most of the time, however I am not in a modelling mood at the moment so I am doing texturing. :lol2:

I think the Reaver ships will look great, once you get them textured with the red and all.

Got one more for now. This is the Bernard class SAR (Search and Rescue).
Often captured and used by the Reavers as a drop ship, as seen in the movie.

That looks great Avon, I can see when they are all done, it will make a great race mod or ship pack. It's not all that often we get non-Trek mods coming out. :)
