Congratulations Thunderfoot. What ship are you going to go with?
Thank you! As for the ship I am picking, I have always been very fond of K_merse's A2 version of the Luna class. The one in STO is nearly an exact match to his fine work. USS Jaguar, reporting, "RedCon One", Admiral.

Highfive fellow Admiral!;)
Where is my Admiral's Launch? You said there'd be an Admiral's Launch.
What's that? All I have to do is get into the Photon Torpedo tube to get my Admiral's Launch? Oh, okay then.
What's that? I have to go into the torpedo tube right now? Alright then.
Ooh, this is sooo exciting! I've been an Admiral for less than twenty four hours and I'm already getting my Admiral's Launch!

I am most pleased to announce, I have finally reached captain level, after two long years. My starship will be the Galaxy-Class U.S.S. Andromeda

Congrats on all of you who have recieved a promotion. My Federation science officer is now a Commander and two of my Klingon officers are now General.

Actually I have spoken to the Luna's original creator Sean and the Luna in STO is actually rather inaccurate to the original, mainly at the bottom of the saucer. He has spoken to STO devs about fixing it but last I heard nothing has come from that.

There are several of the ships with inaccuracies. The lead ship artist want to go back and correct them all but, the time he has to do so is extremely limited. He has to keep to a schedule given to him by his bosses. He had said on numerous occasions that when and if he gets the time, he will correct the errors.

Yeah I can understand that and too be honest it's all cosmetic and really isn't all that important compared to gameplay and bug fixes.

Oh on a new note Naymor is now a Lieutenant General and now has a Bortas Battlecruiser. Now to run him on all those Borg STF missions, it's all he is good for now.

Let me know when he is ready. General Slaas stands ready to assist.

I look forward to it. I plan to redo some of the older missions to get the mk xi and xii gear and after that hopefully Z'Nesh will be up to 50 as well so the 3 of us can kick some Borg implants. :lol2:

I've just made Captain too now. Spent about half an hour trying to decide what to go for, ship-wise. Cruiser... science vessel... cruiser... science vessel. Science Vessel... The Luna looks amazing but I don't tend to use science abilities very much. Cruiser... The Galaxy is a tank, but Base Turn Rate of 6... Hmm.

So then I thought about what my fighting tactics have been recently, and felt that it most fit an Escort, so went for a Defiant-Gallant-Vigilant mix.

But also, I noticed a nice new Bridge Officer slot, which, thanks to the most recent DS9 "episode", I filled with my new Security Officer, Kalan'Tikar

Picnature updated.

Congratulations on the promotion Atlantis, I also went with a Defiant my first time around. She's one of the best Federation ships in the game imo. I also found that the Jem'Hadar officers are bound which is a shame, also not happy that there is no choice to customise them. Still it's a nice addition.

I hope you enjoy that little escort of yours, she sure can dish out a fair amount of damage in a short time.

After working diligently, and being very patient. I finally got the ship I've wanted all along. It was my very favorite in the old SFC III Game and it does not disappoint here in STO either.
Laydeeees and Gennelmen! Uncle Thunder proudly presents...

How do you get the clothes from the Vorta of the 2800 series? I have been searching for a requisition of that!.

When changing the uniform/Costume at the tailor after selecting modify, select Off Duty in the drop down menu when you get to the uniform section and the Vorta clothes are in there.

I am tl'Ingan! This is Major General Crell, KDF. I have had a blast playing as a Klink. Much more fun than being a Federation grass eater IMHO, lol. I find life as a subject of the Empire to be most satisfying. It is true nearly all of the ti'Ingan missions are copy/pasta versions of the Starfleet missions. Nevertheless, I enjoyed playing the Romulan episodes more than when I played them as a Starfleeter. Out of all the things I've done so far I had the most fun hunting down Hakeev and putting paid to his schemes. The Feklhri episodes were highly enjoyable as well. Even though I managed to get Qeyliss killed about a dozen times in a row. Went with 'theme' weapons again. Same reason as before, they're less expensive than the rest. Decided to try something different with the consoles this time. Tried to make them more...generic. Not really the right word but it works better than any other I can think of right this instant. I have two complete weapon sets for Fire Blade and I swap between them based on whom I am fighting today. My Boffs are optimized for close range combat with multiple targets. Really satisfying to sneak into a Terran formation whilst cloaked and then uncloak and raise some Gre'Thor, lol. Did it the other night with a pick up team and smiled while listening to them all gasp with horror at the outrageous audacity of it.

if I were having any more fun, someone would probably suggest I need to be drug screened.

Leave them be, please. I'll send you a data stream when I achieve a target lock on and we'll show them the error of their ways in this manner. Qapla'!

Here is N'mirx's away team. He is a mercenary conscripted by the Federation and assigned to MSFC Task Force as an advanced scout. Each has a different type of mini gun. Makes quick work of the baddies. :D

Sweet set-up SciFiFan, nice Reman and Breen bridge officers too, are they all tactical?

No. The Reman is Science (Disruptor Mini), the Liberated Borg is Engineer (Phaser Mini), and the Breen (Breen ice weapon) and Jem'hadar (Polaron Mini) is Tactical. The Reman is good about opening up with a hold ability. Then the Breen and I (Antiproton Mini) throw in some plasma grenades, then we all sweep them with the mini guns. The result is a pile of baddies. :D

That looks really good, Thun.

It's a real shame they don't let you customise Mr Cheerful's uniform and look, though...

Thank you Atlantis. I Googled TOS Klingon uniforms for STO and promptly got sent to the STO Wiki. I was delighted when I saw not just the pics, but the color settings as well. As for not being able to customize my Jem'Hadar, I can live with it. I'd probably do something silly and dress him as an Orion Slave girl or something.
