• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

I am liking the uniform variant, LT. May I adopt it for my own Starfleet crew?

Of course, if you want it exact then just click the spoiler thingy. If you have any questions about it just ask.

The top is Sierra 1, black is I1, grey is H5, and the dept colors are teal (E7), blue (F6), gold (C6), red (A6)

The pants in the pic are mostly the TNG movie pants (black I1) or the TOS miniskirt (same black)

And finally a mix of Leather Boots for the guys (and some of the girls) and a spattering of the TOS boots for the other ladies

The alternate future badge is what I used for the pic, though since they changed/corrected the TNG movie badge I've switched (back) to it.

Changed my Fed crews to match What LT has done. Very very happy with the result. Nice bridge between the various series and STO. I have been tinkering with my tlhIngan uniforms again. I found the TOS setup in the STO Wiki and went, Wow! And then I decided if I could adjust the TOS look to make it more retro and less an exact copy. I was serious enough about this I NetFlixed all the TOS episodes with tlhIngans in them. Below is the result. A nice balance of new and old I think. Pays homage to where Star Trek came from while still looking towards the future. If any other members of the KDF would like their crews outfitted this way, PM me and I'll send you the settings.

With apologies for double posting, here are the listings for my Retro Mk II uniform set. I NetFlixed the TOS episode Day of the Dove, since it has numerous scenes and examples of TOS Klingons. This was to get the colours to match a little more closely. Emblems, sashes, gloves, gauntlets and spine armor are entirely optional. I added them over time because the first edition of the uniform looked a little plain to me. The Shoulder Armor options look awful with this uniform, so leave them off unless you can get the Klingon Academy ones. These look decent but a little over the top. The race variants in the uniform sets add some nice touches. Such as Nausicaan Bladed Gauntlets and Orion Boots. I suggest going with the first series of sashes. These are the ones which are basically leather straps and fit nicely with the retro TOS theme of the uniform. I also suggest women wear the same uniform as men but I'm not a zealot about it. My female Bridge Officers look female and attractive without being a two dimensional tart. Never understood the mindset behind the 'chainmail bikini' crowd. It's a toon, not a Real Girl, lol.

BTW, Crell wears the really gaudy sash he does because he is such a big showoff. At 5 feet, 7 inches tall, he has a very bad case of 'Little Man Syndrome', rofl.

If the MSFC's KDF Fleet Council will allow it, I'd also like to offer this as the basis for the Fleet Uniform.

Made some personnel changes to my Boffs and this is my new Away Team.

We already have several fleet uniforms, plus the TOS one just seems to plain. Most people don't use the Fleet Uniforms anyway and make their own.

Sa'Sogh Crell now has 1,650 R&D points and can make any of the items found in the Klingon R&D tables. If anyone desires an item to be made for them, contact me either here via PM or inside STO via email and we'll sort the details.
My intentions are to help out people whose captains are at lower levels and who want at least blue quality items.

Had to happen sooner or later. Got bored today with my TOS Retro look. Sometimes, playing STO is like being inside an episode of Hogan's Heroes with all the black, grey, and silver uniforms. I keep waiting for someone to come up and tell me my papers are not in order. So I spent some time tinkering with uniforms. Working on acquiring the Marauder Accolades, so Crell & Co. are now known as the Red Corsairs. Wish there was some way to hang a cutlass off the sash and stick a brace of flintlock pistols into that belt.

If one is going to act a pirate, then one should dress the part doncha think? rofl

I wuz kinda hopin', since I'm a dog person, the new KDF race would be canine based rather than felinoid. Ah well, maybe later.

EDIT: Congratz on the Klink, Z. Ever so much more fun to play KDF than Fed. I want you to know that Sa'Sogh Crell and the crew of IKS Qul'Taj stand ready to assist Captain Rrawu and the IKS Litter Box whenever there is need.
I'll even let you have that packet of Catnip Mk XII [Purr] I've never recycled :lol2:

I can't take STO serious anymore. Not since I got that package of Ferasan Nepeta Leaves. Just in case you didn't know, Nepeta is catnip. Mind blown.

Don't you mean, ahem, 'Imperial Squadron Meow'? rofl. A very bad business this is. Starfleet will be able to completely sidetrack us by leaving a few open boxes on the battlefield.
If they place a ball of yarn nearby as well, we're doomed! Doomed, I say!
