Just tried searching e-bay uk for star trek armada, and guess what I can see

Has anybody tried to contact that guy? And tell him that he's ****ing the modding community off?

And if eBay cared, would they have allowed this in the first place? Neither is concerned about anything but profit. Until one can successfully interrupt the income stream or cause a loss of personal time, both will continue to be completely unconcerned about what we think. I think it is past time someone started some sort of legal action. What this guy has done is a violation of the EULA and until Paramount's attorneys speak with eBay's attorneys, this will continue to be available. Sad, but true. The fallout from this may be more than we want. Paramount's attorneys being fully awake to the A2 modding Community may have unintended consquences. Remember MicroSoft's cease and desist court order to the the HALO Mod team?

Before anyone gets the wrong impression, I too am highly angered by this thoughtless individual's actions. I will fight back the only way I can directly. By not interacting with eBay for any commerce until they remove this item. I am one. But there are others. Until all of us act at once, eBay has no concerns no incentive to do anything. I may place something on my Facebook page about this this weekend. Perhaps if enough voices were heard via the Internet, eBay might be inclined to do something.

A boycott through something like Facebook may be a good idea, may not do a great deal, but it's the best idea I have heard yet. Perhaps a petition on one of those online petition sites could be created as well. I know the A2 community is small, but perhaps if other gaming communities get on board like ST Legacy, Bridge Commander etc we could become a big enough force to make eBay actually do something about it.

I too will be following Uncle Thunderfoot's example and not buy anything on eBay, or sell for that matter till this punk's items are taken down and I also think his account should be deleted.

Ultimately the only real way I think eBay will listen is if they are contacted by legal departments stating if action isn't taken, they could find themselves in court and the only people that could do that, is Paramount or whomever owns the Star Trek licence. I don't even know anymore.

I too am really peeved, as while nothing on mine is being sold, I feel as if it has, as a lot of people I respect and call friends have their stuff involved and we all all one big happy modding community except for a select few like this immoral person selling mods on eBay.

Actuall sence the guy posted his address in the UK the best thing to do would be to get all the modders he stole from together and contact Scotland Yards computer crimes division as this constitutes grand larsony and fraud by computer on his part. Have them file a complaint and let the cops sort out the messy stuff.

LOL So are US servicemen and Vets Profanity is an staple fact in the military Life .

As a general rule of thumb If a Airman/soldier is not Cussing , they are (A) Not happy (B) not breathing (C) waiting for a Higher ranking officer/NCO to leave or get out of ear shot. dependent on case

You've never released a poor mod, and your level of detail is something I love to see in A2 modding.

As TSK has said, you've done amazing work, your Dominion ships are fantastic and the best around and I love them to death. I was also really looking forward to your Hirogen stuff, as you well know what a fan of the Delta Quadrant and Voyager I am.

I really wish you would not "bin the lot". Your stuff is too amazing to do something like this with. Please do not let one person ruin your enjoyment of modding this or any other game. Far too easy to do so. Then where would the rest of us be without something verah kewel from you to look forward to?

I still remember the amazement and delight I experienced when I opened up your Caretaker Mod or watched your new Romulan ships square off with that Tactical Cube whilst defending the Rihannsu from assimilation. Be shame if no one ever gets to experience such as this ever again. Your stuff and I can understand your feelings far too well. It is my hope you reconsider.

I can only echo the sentiments of the people posting here Avon, don't let this guy ruin modding for you. By all means be angry (I certainly was and the guy wasn't even selling any of my work) but please don't let him make you take your brilliant work away from the community.

Aw, thankyou. Kind words indeed. I'm glad some of my work has been appreciated. Although, if I had known that I could get away with charging for it, things might have been a bit different, lol
