they are in my Art of War project, retextured into better colours.

that last one is actually done by Smiley and I'm awaiting permission (hard with dynaverse down)

They look awsome, I am guessing you will have other Dominion ships in Art of War pt3? If that is the case it will be easier for both of us if I wait till it's released.

part 3 will include a dominion scout and a Cardassian/Jem'Hadar hybrid design... I wanted to make them feel less like cardies and more mixed, some of the stations will get a mixed tech appearence aswell.

This project is a on and off thing I do in my spare time when I have a break from Yesteryears, I am just aiming to get the models together and hopeful have each race's ships textures match each other.

The four models you showed there I am actually already using though either older versions or ones using different texture sets which do not match each other.

Waiting gives me the opportunity to gt the final versions along with the stations that hopefully will match each other as well.

Only thing I have to say besides "wow, awesome, about time someone did the Dominion right" is that I hope your use of the Son'a is limited. Same with the Breen. The more Jem'Hadar vessels in the mix, and the less 'allied forces', the better.

Also can't wait to see what your stations look like for the Dominion.

I am in fact having no breen and sona in the Dominion side, all Jem'Hadar with 50% more Jem'Hadar.

In fact I plan on work only on the Dominion and Klingons to start off with and migrate to the other races afterwards.

The reason I am also focusing on the Dominion first is so when Zero Hour is released I will already have my own Dominion side for it.

To me to Dominion isn't given justice enough in mods and those who do include it always do so with the Cardassians. I honestly believe the Dominion should have been in stock in place of 8472.

Amen, however I do love the Dominion with the Cardassians, sets them well. As for Dominion stations, I never had the will to start them, A whole race take a lot of time, 2-3 weeks if I do them flat out.. and who does? Last time I did anything that fast was the Romulan stuff for BI : VR cause MaP lost his models.

Indeed who does, in that amount of time it would be impossible, almost, unless one is really devoted and has nothing in real life to take them away from the computer.

The Dominion with the Cardassians suit a Dominion War era mod, but my idea is to have the MSFC Dominion mod set a few years afterwards, perhaps just after Nemesis. It's basically just a multiplayer mod and I wanted the Dominion seperate from the Cardassians to give both races a unique feel to them.

That sounds like a good idea, to have them as separate races, that would also be cool because that would avoid having a similar theme with ZH. Besides, we know Dominion does have battles against the Borg too (Armada1) so why would take those battles from us?
As for the ship designs in the very first page, I remember seeing the H-shaped ship in a cool pic with other ships like that and some Cubes battling against Species8472, in the pic, the ship was named as Harmonic Destroyer.

Haven't really been paying much attention to this thread as of late... Anyway, Majest, I don't know how much Borg items you have avaliable, but I've a few ships (nothing spectacular) that I was going to use in Zero Hour, when I was having the Borg.

I've still got the ships on my computer, have been meaning to sort them out and upload them, but never got around to it. You are welcome to them if you wish.?

They are, as follows:

- Interceptor
- Armoured Interceptor
- Sphere
- Armoured Sphere
- Pyramid
- Armoured Pyramid
- Cube
- Armoured Cube

Unfortunatly, I don't have any pictures, at least not valid. There is one on A2Files somewhere, of three Galaxy-X attacking the Cube I was using (has a different texture to the usual Cubes too)...

In addition to that, I've a Son'a Battleship (BC Convert / Kitbash) that I put on A2Files a while ago, though a few modifications have been done to that model, you are welcome to that too.. - As you are having the Son'a allied with the Breen and Dominion, would save you work (unless you wish to stick with your current Son'a ship).

On an additional note, I have a Son'a Command ship also (got loads of stuff I have) lol, it is unfinished, but you can have that too if you wish. You and Achilles (if he ever lets me know he wants it) would be the only two people with the model. The top of the ship is done, and textures, just lacks both mesh and texture on the bottom, but I'm sure Achilles / Syf could master something up.

I already recieved those Borg ships from you some while ago and I thank you for it. Anything else you have I would be happy to look at, though I won't be adding the Sona to the Dominion, I want them a complete seperate entity but depending on what happens in the future I may add them and the Breen together.

Well I have started to make more work on getting the unit lists filled. With a big thanks to Achilles I have got the Dominion and Cardassian sides almost complete (unit wise). I am still awaiting on a few models to be released by Avon (Dominion) and need to attempt a retexture a Dominion battleship I have as well as needing to do a couple of Cardassian kitbashes but for the most part I have the ships I need for those two sides.

I have also started to work on getting the Romulans listings complete. Again thanks to Achilles and his Art of War mod.

how many non-canon ships are you planning? and are you going to limit them to "logical" mission specific ships?

Good question, basically think of Yesteryears and you get the idea. I am only going to have 9 ships per race.

Well after some thinking and looking at Battleclinic I think I may add the Breen as their own race, naturally I would love to do that to the Sona but I have only found a couple of good ships (well they were sent to me by Tycoon) and with a lack of Sona non-canon designs out there they will only be map units that appear in some multiplayer maps.

I have also thought of and decided against having super stations (for now at least), cargo ships and trading stations. I am also thinking about repair ships and weather or not to include them, but with the cargo ships gone no doubt the repair ships will go as well.

As far as map units go (apart from the Sona) I don't plan on having any as this mod is simply a multiplayer mod with no campaign and no real storyline. Just the titans of the Dominion war at each others throats.

Well here is a Dominion advanced shipyard I kitbashed. Not sure weather I like it or not and it is not completely finished (about 90% done).
