• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

I think that the saucer looks a little stubby compared to the sleekness of the secondary hull and nacelles (of course I could be bias as my build already has a Seeker styles saucer). I'd suggest just stretching it a little.

It seems okay, but I'd cut down the saucer's size. It seems too big for a small ship (based on the secondary hull).

Very cool, but I'm not a fan of what I think is the deflector array. I prefer them more like the Galaxy's and the Vesta's. Although, it IS different and different is good. I'll have to see a bow view for my final opinion.

Still, good job.

@ Admiral*Alex

Thanks

But well she is a descendant of the Dauntless-class starship , like the Seeker so she has a Dauntless stile deflector.

Can't win everyone we all have our own taste, for instant I hate the Odyssey-class with a passion (And I have my reasons ). Wile you like it enough to have it as your avatar, to each their own .

I did most of this work before HK put up his new images, but I don't think it's far off. Modelling three ships simultaneously so they fit together is hard!

Your close my friend on the whole ship, but not on the separated parts. But with that said you need not do them I'm still working out the separation and I may just go with two parts instead of three having two fully functional halfs that are combat ready

That and it must be a nightmare trying to them to line up

Update

two Equal parts worked best

At first, I was on the fence of the deflector, but it turned out amazing. Also, the two sections are a great idea instead of three (or more). Although, I feel like there should be more hull around the deflector when it's separated, but I like it how it is now.

One last bit, I think the nacelles should either be longer or the pylons connecting the nacelles be moved back. It feels too small (compared to the rest of the ship). I don't like it when the bussard collectors are so close to the pylons.

Nacelles & pylons

I did that for a tactical reasons as well as Slipstream

On the tactical side less area to be shielded and less of a target exposure

As to Slipstream the more compact the ship the less phase variance effect area is need is need form a maintain stable quantum tunneling effect for slipstream

Technical data
The quantum slipstream drive operated by routing energy through the vessel's main deflector, which then focused a quantum field, allowing the vessel to penetrate the quantum barrier. In order to maintain the slipstream, the phase variance of the quantum field had to be constantly adjusted, or the slipstream would collapse, violently throwing the ship back into normal space. (VOY: "Hope and Fear")

Voyager episode 5x06 - Timeless showed what happens a slipstream collapses
