Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.
Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.
We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.
Very cool.

:Y ... I don't know what to say. That was sooooooooooooooooooo cooooooooool........
+1 to you.....if I could....
I think that the only thing I can complain about was that it wasn't in 1080p.
That was epic and I don't even care about BSG.
My only gripes are:
- It would be even better if it had sound effects.
- I'm not a fan of the shaky cam thing. I know he's trying to mimic the show's style, but I think it detracts from the piece.
Not just the shaking, but the quick zooms and turns, and the slight shaking as if someone were filming it with a handheld camcorder. They did it in SGU too and I didn't like it very much at all.I can understand what you say, when missiles impact on the ship's hull, the shaking is too violent. In the serie it was done only once I think, but it was during the battle of New Caprica, when Galactica lost one of it's dorsal turrets (the big boom that can be seen). Still Ithink the video is great and of a great quality. .
Yeah, it was ok in BSG, but it is a bit over done in that vid, but who can really argue with that kind of home made video?
I'd not seen this one before...
Clicky clicky
Nothing spectacular, but certainly a different kind of warp effect, has an extra feeling of motion and depth to it.
Has a bit of TMP style about it, and a bit of IMPS: The Relentless hyperdrive effect.
