The Solstice of Heros event has started. I am seriously considering sitting it out this year. The game, as fun as it can be, is already too much of a grind. The extra grind and forcing me into parts of the game I would rather stay away from is not my idea of fun.

I farmed, and farmed, and farmed Strange Terrain nightfall and was unable to get the Osprey rocket launcher. Found out today that I will no longer have to. They evacuation exotic quest that will ultimately reward Traveler's Chosen sidearm will have multiple steps. Each step will reward a nightfall exclusive item. The Mars step will reward Osprey.

Well I have been on duty all the time and have not really been able to playing all that much ..

Oh, and the Steam update that allows a sane control scheme for Steam Controllers on Destiny and other games with limited steam input options is out of beta, so I can finally stop using my PS4 controller! I also bought a better headset, the Razer Nari Essential. Wireless, great sound, a flip to mute mike, and the pads are big enough to be fully circumaural, so they should be comfortable to wear for extended periods.
