ST: Aurora Class

Oh heck... that means really you a lot like me. I can hardpoint fine, but I hate doing it. That was one of the last things I mastered in modding.

I just hate doing on a large scale. A single model is not problem. And I do have a bit more experience at fixing the problems with the models. That's what makes me a model master. I'm sure in do time, you will get it down right.

Tbh modelign and applying a texture is easy, tbh i dont think im ever gna get Hardpointing figured :/

At first glance HP work doesnt look too complicated, i mean the tutorial i used looked fine.

yet its twiec now, using both Syf's cheat method and the ms3d tutorial on a2files that ive managed to mess up.

I guess the just dont make things Jeddy proof anymore!

right, Update on the other ships,
i have textured the Witchhead.

Form what i have heard about the Aurora is that Syf has got it working, but the textures have "slipped" this is probably due to the fact that im using wings3d to texture them! lol.

Anyway, i still went on incase this error is avoidable.

and here is what i have made

id on want this to alter your opinions obviosuly, but i can sfaely say that the Witchhead is probably my favorite fromt he oens ive made.

Also, u may notice it doesnt have a deflector dish - Im working on it!

Sorry for double post! but ur all so quiet! lol

From what syf has told me the texture problem originates from the fact that thet texture was 512x538, niot 512x512 so ye i have a bit of a red face now.

But after fixing that issue i have re done the Witchhead. Including deflector dish! :O wwooowww!

While im not entirely happy with the bits above the saucer, for now i am content to call it finished.

i see... and what i used fromt he aurora was the saucer and nacelles (and the annoying bit i used.

i really cant wait to see the aurora.

syf, if ur cleaning up the polies what i will probably do is remake the others (witchhead and Orion, im forgetting the "vindicator" class for the itme being) from those parts.

and ill probably use the cheat method for HP from the Aurora as well, (and people say i dont recycle!)

As I said, I would like to, but it's Jeddy's model, and his place to show it when he's ready. I think I'll just have to wait for Jeddy to post it. I just sent him a PM with a look. I still have one last thing to complete, then I can send the model back to Jeddy.

I had to tease you a bit for Jeddy's sake.

I will say, I think everyone will like this cleaned version.

Well thank you all for the compliments. Jeddy's model is an outstanding addition to the "fleet" It has a good flow to it. I only "cleaned" it up a bit.
