This will contain spoilers for people outside the US!

Anyone seen it?

What an episode! I loved it,

I was initially sceptical about the introduction of these new villans, thinking that it was obvious they were going to be the ones we see in the Daedelus Variations, while there is no concrete evidence that they arent, in the episode Daniel Jackson comments on why they are still wearing the suits, and a possibility that they are either trying to hid etheir identity or need to wear the suits to exist in our environment.

and the device they found, wow! I never thought of something that would work that way around, when Mckay said it was an "Endgame" Device i was imagining something like The Halo in Halo. IT would destroy the wraith by killing off their food supply etc. but nope this wored a lot better.

Although i dont know how they are going to sort out the next episode. I have read what gateworld has to say but again, im not sure its going to work right.

On a smaller note the love triangle is developing nicely. The bit where Mckay was walking off with Jackson and Ronon was walking off with Keller. And the look Mckay gave Ronon, followed by the Grin on Ronons face at the time was really funny. - well atleast to me it was :p

I honestly think this could have worked as a end of season cliffhanger.

What do you all think?

Oh my goodness... I think I'm gonna cry...

John and Zalenka were caught in the gate explosion. :( I realise they probably transported out, or something, but that was not a good sign, not at all... Though I do think that Todd taking over the Daedelus was an awesome plot twist.
This means we have to wait til Jan/Feb for the continuation right? :(

Oh My God! I Have To See It Now!

ONLY READ THIS IF YOU HAVE SEEN THE TRAILER!

Why the hell would the Asgard need Mckay to turn the machine on? They should be able to do it in their sleep. And As DAniel said if they were ancients theyw ould have turned it on themselves without the need for MCkay. and as i said that what the Asgard could have done too.

By the Title "The Lost Tribe" Im imagining they are a splinter group of the Asgard, possibly even ones who were sent out (like the ones saved in the stasis pods) and they moved along a similar evolutionary path, well in that they cloned bodies, or maybe even they found a way to over come the death-ness (and tahts what the thing on their head does)

Arg i really want to see tht episode now. Sooooo damned annoying we have to wait 2 weeks :/

Well, i guess ill still have the shock to recover from heh.

Wow... Definitely didn't see that coming... And to think that this'll be the last season of Atlantis... But yeah, why would the Asgard need McKay to turn it on? Only reason I can think of is the ATA gene, perhaps for some reason the Asgard there couldn't give it to themselves?

I've seen 'First Contact', and 'The Lost Tribe', and whilst it was nice to see 'them' back again, I am really dissapointed with the two-parter. I expected much, much more.

Daniel Jackson makes a visit to Atlantis but he and Rodney are soon kidnapped by a new alien race all because they were at the wrong time and place.
Pretty storyline which leads to a pretty good cliffhanger.
