• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

    Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

    We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Hello, MSFC Community!

It's Poll Time again. This time, the question is technical: Which browser do you prefer? In the old days, there were only a few browsers, but today we have a huge choice. Some are better than others, some have rare features, some are very simple and some are like a Swiss Army Knife.

Firefox, IE has too many bugs and loop holes for viruses and Opera I found to intensive on my system resources.

Personally, I use Opera as well as Firefox.
Opera is clearly the Ferrari of the browsers. It's got a ton of features, amazing speed (the fastest browser on earth!), configurable interface, mouse gestures... I can't imagine surfing without my Opera.
Directly beside the red O sits my trusted Firefox. I've been working for many years with Firefox and it's still the user friendliest browser. As much as I like Opera, I won't go anywhere without having my Firefox as a backup.

Been using the Firefox since late 2008, and a bit of Google Chrome here and there.

I use to use firefox, but I prefer the simplicity and speed of chrome. I hate IE.:sweat: I"ve been thinking of trying opera though, cause it has gotten really good ratings lately.

I use for the most part just Firefox, unless I come to some web episode I want downloaded and it only accept IE (yes, it has happened. I think it was a ST fan movie that required IE to download).

I love Chrome. It's very fast, customizable with insane amounts of plug-ins available, and just looks nice. I also don't need to worry about annoying tool bars getting tacked on.

I really only use FireFox, I however have IE8, Google Chrome, and Safari all installed.
