Weapon Colors

I've recently been upgrading all of my personal mod's weapon textures and I've come across a dilemma, not a serious one, but more of a "personal taste" problem. Seeing as I want my own a2 to be as canon as possible to the show, I need your help about each race's weapon colors.

Here's what I've done so far
Federation - Orange
Romulan - Lime green
Borg - Green
Dominion - Silverish Blue
Cardassian - Gold

Here's where I need your opinions:
Klingon - Red or Green?
Gorn - ??????
Orions - ??????
Son'a - ??????
Remans - ??????
Ferengi - ??????
Breen - ??????
Tholian - ??????

Well I would have the Dominion with purplish and the Orions with something very similar. For the Tholians I would have a light blue and the Gorn a almost brown green. Klingons depend on the era, if TMP I would have Red but for Lost ro TNG I would have green.

Sona would have a brown yellow, Ferengi orange, Remans a blueish colour almost teal or aqua and Breen I would say something in between the Gorn and Sona.

Thats what I would do personally and some above is what is in Yesteryears and the MSFC Dom Mod.

Well in Klingon Academy, Gorn Phasers and Plasmas were red with a yellow "centre".

For the Tholians, I agree, light blue (think a kind of crystal blue).

To me, Breen should be a kind of, winter green colour, with poleron looking torpedoes, Remans (from the film) are a bright, electric blue for primary, with a green plasma torpedo. In BOTF I think the Ferengi had a brownish orange, similar to Cardassians, and I'd use a similarly Cardassian looking torpedo.

For the rest, hmm. Orion Pirates kind of use everyone elses guns in some pretty crazy combinations, so I'd use others weapons for them not a seperate racial colour. Klingon weapons should definately be green, either a standard "disruptor" green for TMPish, or a yellowy (mustard gas-like) green for TNG.

Son'a? well, beats me, what did they use in A1?

Thanks for the info Squire. As for the Sona, I checked my Insurrection DVD for some clips and it's actually a silverish blue.

Klingon:
Disruptor Pulses are green.
Disruptor Beams have been either red or green.
Torpedoes have been orange, red, or green.
Take your pick =)

Gorn:
I tend to go for a bright yellow-green for the Gorn. Like SquireJames said, in KA they have red/yellow weapons. And in SFA they have blue weapons.

Orions:
As pirates they use whatever they can get hold of. I don't think they have a specific colour-set.

Son'a:
In Insurrection they use a kind of silvery-blue. In A1 they use red-orange weapons. I'd go for a mix of these.

Remans:
Electric blue.

Ferengi:
Orange or yellow-white.

Breen:
Green or blue.

Tholian:
I agree with the others, a kind of light blue would work well here. Or maybe even just white.

I pretty much agree with all of the above, though with Orion I think it just depends who they've "stolen" the most from, or if all else fails a reddish orange phaser? I'm mainly use to the Orions in Starfleet Command II with pretty much every phaser under the sun.

Same here, My custom orions have weapons from various races

The best way to go really, I choose purple for Yesteryears, due to wanting them to be a little more original and seperate from the other races.
