Your model work is gorgeous Candice, that classic Galactica reminds me of seeing the original series in reruns during the 80s when I was a kid. Still my fave!

Had that for a long time. I love the TOS Meshes by TanJ, they all look excellent. Of recent, I have been trying to fill my TRS stable. It took me a while just to get a Basestar.

I have collected many of these ships from old sources (Star Trek Australia for one). Probably my proudest is this.

This is the USS Crusader, a Saber Class Mesh by Don Woligroski. It was a simple Mesh as it was ripped from of ALL places Star Trek Armada III (or IV, all I remember I had it). I know it was because the Textures for the Game fit the Mesh....Go figure. It is really Low Poly, and the Textures come out so blurred I got to thinking of ways of Cleaning it up. Also, the Mesh had an Error on it so....I could only show the Starboard Side. So over time I got someone to repair the mesh a bit. I found clearer and more realistic Textures, as well, I added prims to make up for the areas I just couldn't fit to display Registries, and Names. In the end from the Above Image, it now appears like this.

Yes these are Renders with 3D Software, but I'm so proud that someone took a Game Mesh, and built a simple OBJ file, and it came out this good.

I made this yesterday, and think it's post-worthy. I'm surprised we don't have a thread for this.

Back then I was only 5 actually, but I remember. I remember thinking, why we had a Color TV, and the picture was in Black and White. But I was mesmerized. Back then we had dreams, I believe we still do, but back then we turned our dreams into reality. In 10 Years, we had the talent, the courage, the manpower, to build the most powerful vehicle in human history, and get 2 men on the moon, and have them return safely.

There have been other higher quality Meshes, but even for their higher detail, they don't seem to match the simplicity of the Don Woligroski Mesh. Sure it's Low Poly, and closeups are problematical, but I'm OK with it for the most part.

I recently got back into one of my Star Wars Groups and wrote a few chapters. I came upon one of my Favorite ships. The old Corellian Cruiser I wanted to show off.

The Brothers Vengeance, a heavily modified Old Republic Cruiser that was transformed into a Fast Frigate, with some interesting firepower. In this case, they weren't winning this battle.
