• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

    Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

I'm trying to implement some kind of new trading, that allows players to gain additional supply.

The standard trading does not allow to get supply so I'm trying to get a new system working via miners.
So far I was able to build a "trading" station that spawns a simple supply "moon" with an empty sod model. The miner now starts mining there without the beam and without the .wav sound played while mining. It now should travel to a specific building that only allows this specific miner to dock and unload there.
And thats the problem.

The miner flies to the nearest dilithium and tritanium moons and tries to gain resources from them, but cannot as I changed the mining beam weapon to only allow to mine from the spawning invisible supply moon. The miner continues to circle around the dil and trit moons without any effect as he cannot mine there. Instead of automatically targeting the supply moon I created, I have to manually right click it. And here starts the second problem. He docks directly at the trading station that spawns the supply moon and unloads there.

How do I get the miner to mine at the supply moon instead of traveling to the nearst dil and trit moons?
Is there a way to force a specific miner to only dock at a specific station forcing it to travel a long distance to "simulate" trading?
