So what does everyone thing of this one so far?
There's a fair amount of information out about it, which suggests that theres even more theyve kept firmly underwraps (for example, the main characters name is still unknown, and is currently referred to by a codename, 'Starkiller' harking back to the very first drafts of the films).
We've already seen clips of how powerful he is, able to bring a Star Destroyer crashing to the ground with the force by himself (size matters not...) which is impressive, although slightly worrying. That display of power indicates he's more powerful than Vader, and thats doubtful given Anakin/Vader was supposed to be the chosen one of the Force.
Both the actor who voices 'Starkiller' and the writer of the games plot have said that the character is essentially what would have happened had Luke joined Vader in the Trilogy (although obviously set earlier in time since its between episodes 3 and 4).
The game looks pretty impressive, the force powers look amazing and the character arc seems to be in place too, for both of the traditional light side and dark side endings - though what are the odds that the 'canon' ending is lightside, same as with the Jedi Knight games, and the KOTOR games?
boo hiss to the lightside.
On the subject of KotoR, i suggest that people view the trailer before answering this question:
Revan or 'Starkiller' - whose the better Sith?
Incidentally, me and a friend went to Celebration Europe where they showcased the game, and spent a lot of time at that stand talking with the guys representing it. According to them, the new character makes Revan looks like a wuss. Neither one of us believed them lol, so there's my answer:
Revan would take Starkiller in a fight with ease.
