enterprise was well moderate id say. i hated how some pirates in a crappy wee ship managed to board the enterprise without any resistance from the macos who were always there to stop them everytime in every other episode.

I quite liked Voyagers Final Episode, You knew they would get home some time but I thought they might have left that to a possable film.
Didnt like Enterprises though,good episode but not really a good ending finaly to the series.
I never saw all episodes so anyone correct me on this as I might of missed this, but I never got to see who that holographic shadow was causing this temporal war
DS9(mmmm) I wanted bloodshed not a peaceful solution for the Dominion war.
TNG was a good ending.

Voyagers was excellent. I wasn't too fond on Enterprises, as It felt it was more about Riker than the Crew of the NX-01.
Yeah, felt like more of a TNG ep to me...

I tend to think of the original series' ending as very well done. Considering how they found out, the final shot (never mind the content of the episode, which was hideously misogynistic) of the captain, followed by a slow fade to the ship making its way into eternity.... it was all of thirty seconds long but it made for a nice "so long".
But since this thread is about *endings* as opposed to last episodes, I've always thought of Kirk's final words from the bridge, "second star from the right, and straight on 'til morning", to be altogether fitting and worthy of the series. A close second to Picard's hand of poker. The one thing that troubled me most about Nemesis is that, despite being the last TNG film (there will not be another, it's just not going to happen), it wasn't a fitting end for the whole sequence of characters. No Search for Data followed by a Voyage Home. They left that for Janeway and crew-- a good end for the crew, a temporal paradox for the captain.
And Enterprise's ending made me seriously question their intent in using the Pegasus incident as a framing device. Were they that desperate to establish the events of ENT as part of the regular timeline? Didn't help that poor Jon Frakes hadn't gotten any younger since that season of TNG. Like, I love the guy, but c'mon. What was the point of that? And how out of character was it for Riker not to at least make a little try at getting into Hoshi's uniform-- again: like, c'mon!

I think the end of ST VI has to be the best ending. I suppose its because they had planned for it, yet had something else to go to after. The other series never really knew if that was "it" or whether they could stretch it to another season or if there would be another series. Even Nemesis was kind of, left open deliberately. With ST VI, it was a definate goodbye, (and IMHO should have been left that way, no killing Kirk in Generations) a definate "well, we've done our bit, now to the new kids". It just felt, wholesome.
As for Enterprise, I am surprised they did't go down the Dallas route and just have Riker "imagine" it all...

You may feel this is a little off mark, but, I quite liked the end of the 2 parter "best of Both Worlds", I would love to see that remastered, with "new" Borg (ie the costumes they wore in First Contact & Voyager)

I liked Voyager's ending. They come back home with a bunch of Borg technology and the next time the Borg invade humanity is ready for it. Voyager flying inside of the sphere near the end was pretty awesome.
The worst ending to any series ever was Enterprise's ending.
As far as the films go, I find it hard to believe on Generations that their casualties were light. The ship was swiss cheese after those guys blew a bunch of holes in it! Josh says that in the Generations paperback book that 16 people are killed in the battle on Generations. That is quite light for the ship getting hit as much as it did, along wwith crash-landing on a planet.

i completely agree. i think voyager's end was fantastically done. however, i'm sure i'm not alone, i hoped that the last episode would be the second to last episode and that the reunions would be the last episode.
ds9 wow, ummm can we find out what's going on here. i would've like to have seen something a little more substantial for an ending. i mean.. now you've got an orphaned kid. i realize that its' the black sheep of the family sorta, but it doesn't have to be so darned different all the time.
i didn't see ENT ending, cuz i couldn't stand scott bakula as the captain. i kept waiting for him to look around and go ''Oh Boy!" seriously! i didn't like the show from the moment i found out he was the man.... the only good episode i saw was the borg episode. it just a great tie-in for the series. however, again.... the Enterprise would not have been able to stop that ship, technically. it was from the future and should have already adapted to historical data assimilated from EVERY other human/ship it encountered. as far as i was concerned ENT ended the trek franchise with a knife sticking in it's side.
TNG was a good ending also. now... the movie ending.. left open was nice, but this whole prequel idea is really getting on my nerves. you don't need to make such things. you have casts everywhere to help progress forward.
oh boy i'm ranting.... BURN BABY BURN! lol

yeah, generations ending was awfully light on the death factor. there are a thousand plus on there. besides exactly HOW fast was the saucer going when it hit the ground. i know a collision like that at 60 miles an hour can be fatal. LOL i mean look at the bridge everyone FLEW to the front. i understand that for future movie purposes people couldn't die, but c'mon! Now.. in the Nemesis, this Data wannabe brother of his, B4. he should have been sent over and Data Rescued.
