They released a deleted scene from the season 1 finale. Spoilers, of course. I kind of suspect it will get put into a season 2 episode since it's important.

So apparently the black badges are Section 31. Don't really like the idea of S31 openly wearing some kind of special insignia.

Well Sloan was hardly covert about his appearance at times, as the universe was even more splintered during Disc than TOS, the Federation almost fell to the Klingon Empire they aren't going to be subtle for a while, probably just claiming to be Star Fleet Intelligence.

Please use spoiler tags as not everyone has seen Discovery

Atm I'm just wondering how many freaking torpedo tubes the Crossfield class has. I swear it's bound to have a plethora we're not seeing...right?

It's strange. The ship seems that has clearly labeled phaser banks, but seems to fire phasers and torpedoes from anywhere.

The first trailer for the second season has been released.

As much as I disliked season 1, this one actually looks like something I might enjoy.

Season 1 had some good moments and as a whole, wasn't too bad. Most of my issues was more with their design choices. I am looking forward to S2.

Looking at that trailer closer, I'm very pleased to see what look like accurate recreations of a Cardassian and a Lurian.

I am a bit lost as I have seen Andromeda, and understand it's the premise. Yet now they jump 930 in the future (Good pick since it would be the late 32 century), and make something that actually catches the eye with the reason and purpose that took 2 Whole seasons of meandering to get to this point.

In the words of a Science Officer, I knew 50 years ago....Fascinating

Argh! This is a joke, no it isn't a joke. Burnham is Hercules, äh Kevin Sorbo, Burnham is the Messiah of the Federation.
Who thinks of something like this?

I can't help it... I think it would be a great series for an alternate reality. But as the main canon storyline it just makes me raging...

canon is safely gone with this series , sry but star trek feeling only because of names ,ships.
other timelines, this topic too rapidly picked up and things changed.
and to make it more worse , so called modern human behavior , what some people
want us to think that it is that way or normaly.
that has nothing to look for there .
my thinking is what we are doing wrong today , in star trek universe after 3 world war is all gone !
i hope it will not be in other future series the same :(

So paramount cancel Discovery (just the other day) on Australian Netflix that was supposed to be released tomorrow, now they're withholding showing it on Paramount+ in Australia until sometime emphasis on sometime next year. Found out that it appears? only the USA and Canada are getting it this year. So they've alienated about half their audience on a show that struggled since day 1. I wonder if they're planning on doing this with Picard and Lower Decks as well.

Hello:
My borther sent me a summary pic about that, and it is not just Australia but literally only USA and Canada are getting the shows... something fishy is happening.

They've thrown the actors under the bus with it as well. They've been getting a lot of flak on social media, but they found out the same time as the fans. Anthony Rapp (Stamets) has been pretty clear and vocal in regards to that.

It's good to see the actors are with the fans on this.

I have no issue it going on Paramount+ but the fact we can't get it here on Paramount+ until next year isn't doing them any favours. I wouldn't be surprised if the Twitter types start the # boycotting or even out right bad publicity as they're known to do. Either way it's not a good image for Paramount. Spoilers are already everywhere for episode 1 of season 4 and by the time we (outside the US/Canada) get it, we're going to know what the series is all about that many are no doubt just not bother with it. Kinda how I'm feeling atm. If I know what happens in the series before I get access to it, really is there much point in getting it? Or watching it?

Is i possible that because it was criticized so much that they decided to release it at one part of the word at the time, and thus shred to negativity to small amounts?

That's a load of rubbish considering Paramount+ is in Australia already. Why restrict it on Paramount+ in other countries (other than the US), they own the platform for gods sake. Netflix agreement I read feel through because they (Paramount) wanted them to hold of streaming it until next year rather than the planned Nov 19. It's bad marketing, intentional to restrict it outside the US and the backlash they're getting is showing what a horrid move this is and well deserved imo.
