Broadcast:
Season 6, Episode 7.
This guest stars Angela Bruce as Foreign Secretary Ruth Chambers. This probably means that the previous Foreign Secretary who was seen in the previous season in the Africa summit episode either succeeded in becoming Prime Minister or moved on to something else.
Well executed a hostage situation during broadcast of a current affairs programme.
A bit of a goof here when Adam says the three people interviewed on the programme are politicians. Of the three only Ruth Chambers is a politician while Bob Hogan is a spy and Bakhshi is a diplomat.

Infiltration:
Season 6, Episode 8.
Ros has been discovered to be working with Yalta.
Very good this episode especially when it is revealed that Juliet is a member of Yalta. Since it has been a while since we last saw Juliet this certainly came as a surprise.
Knew Ros wasn't dead.

Isolated:
Penultimate episode of season 6.
A very good penultimate episode for season and a very good villain in Davie King.
We finally learn the Home Secretary's name - Nicholas Blake.
Quite funny at the end when Malcolm found his chair adjusted.

The School:
Season 6 finale.
Finally confirmation on what has long been expected - Zaf is dead.
Adam mentions Code 9. This is a reference to the spin-off series of that name which made its debut after the original airing of this episode.
Not surprised that Bob Hogan works for the Redbacks.
Quite an end to the season and wonder if Jo is still alive.

To Australian viewers:
ABC goes straight to season 7 next week. However season 7 are not the Spooks episodes that came immediately after season 6. On its original airings the 6 episodes (so far) of the aforementioned Spooks: Code 9 was broadcast between seasons 6 and 7 of the parent series. However Code 9 takes place a few years after the events in the parent series. Therefore ABC probably did not think it would do any harm to show season 7 of the parent series ahead of the spin-off.

Noticed in the ad for season 7 that Ros is back. Knew she was going to come back.

New Allegiances:
Season 7, Episode 1.
Happy that Jo is still alive.
Ros returns and she looks really good.
Richard Armitage makes a very good debut here as Lucas North filmed during his spare time from playing Guy of Gisbourne in Robin Hood.
The opening of this season ends with tragedy with Adam being killed in a car explosion.
Rupert Penry-Jones had been a very good lead of Spooks. Certainly much better than his predecessor Matthew Macfadyen as Tom Quinn.
The killing of Adam in a heroic way is way better than Tom Quinn's exit early in season 3 when Quinn was forced to leave for jeopardising a mission.

Split Loyalties:
Season 7, Episode 2.
Jo looked really cute in the police uniform especially the hat.
Harry's request of shutting down the Internet is like what is currently going on in the real world in Iran although under very different circumstances.
Lucas' joke of spying on MI5 for the Russians turns out to be serious. Surprise that his ex-wife was his handler.
For a spy I thought it was careless of Lucas to leave an imprint of what he wrote on the notepad for Ros to find. I thought it would have been wise for him to get rid of that blank piece of paper.

Amusing to hear of the CIA's Hospitality Suite.
Very intense situation of the bomb at a restaurant.

On The Brink:
Season 7, Episode 5.
Overall not a bad episode, there have been episodes have been better.
This episode involving a financier wanting to bankrupt the country.
It guest stars Simon Williams who coincidentally I am seeing him in season 1 of Upstairs, Downstairs on DVD.
Interesting this episode has a character with the surname of Darlek (sic).

Accidental Discovery:
Season 7, Episode 6.
There is yet another Foreign Secretary different from the one shown the last time. Does this mean there is going to be a different Foreign Secretary every time Spooks decides to show one.
What a sad tragedy at the end.

The Mole:
Season 7, Episode 7.
Written by James Moran.
Brilliant episode which began with Harry listening to music just as he waits to be arrested.
A very well executed episode as Connie is revealed to be the mole (although there was a hint this in earlier episodes) and what a shock she killed Ben.

Nuclear Strike:
Finale of season 7.
What a thrilling finale this is, especially with Ros, Lucas and Connie running away from the Russians.
Funny when Harry said that he was going to use his charm on the Russians in which Malcolm said they were in trouble.
Until this episode it did not occur to me why a mole referred to a traitor - a mole has go down deep to find out what is going on. This is something I have taken for granted.
Since she killed Ben in the previous episode, it probably isn't a surprise that Connie is killed off here.
What a cliffhanger with Harry being kidnapped by the Russians.
