• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

My condolences to your family and remember that

Death is that state in which one only exists in the memory of others; which is why it is not an end. No goodbyes, just good memories

Hello:
I am sorry to hear what happened, but at least you know that your father is no longer having any kind of sufferings. Now you must keep making use of all the things he taught you, becasue that will sure help you pass this moment and to keep with your life with strenght.

The death of someone close to you is never easy, nor is it something you'll ever fully get over. But take heart that you're not alone, you've got friends both here and away from the Digital World.

Do what you need to do, and talk to who you need to talk to. But no matter what, stay strong.

Thank you all for your kind words. Services for my dad will be on Tuesday. Just to tell you all a little about the man that this world just lost.

He loved Star Trek and he is the one that got me into it. He always looked on the positive side of things. I remember him telling us when this all started that no matter what happens, he wins. Either God cures him (win) or God calls him home (win). He also loved to fish. He taught me how to be a good husband, father, and man. There was so much we wanted to do together but for one reason or another, we did not get the chance. I do hold solace in that when my time here is done, he will be there to great me at the Pearly Gates.

I am truly sad for you. I know what it's like to lose someone close to you. While it be a time of grief, let this also be a time of to rejoice in all the wonderful things he did. Just the little bit you said is enough for me to believe he was a good man.

And never forget... Live long and Prosper.

As I said before, your father sounds like someone we all should have been privileged to know. The world is poorer for his passing. Not so many men around such as he so obviously was any more. He's not really gone though. He lives on in you and your family's memories of him, the people and things he influenced while he was here, and the things about him you've shared with us here. Rejoice in the things he gave you while he was here. Share them with others not as fortunate as yourself to have known him. You'll see him again in person, of this I have no doubt. And when you do, please give him my sincere thanks. For sharing you with us.
