[WIP] Puddle Jumper Spaceport - Stargate.

Here is a wip shot of a spaceport I'm making for a stargate CGI fan-film. (There are others working on this project but my job is to make the buildings )

The next area to start on will be the center control tower, then the docking area and finally finishing the detail work on the center dome.



Here is my basic planing sketch.

This is a German fan-film so I've had to translate a far bit to understand myself.

Basic plot.

A race of advanced humans are escaping there doomed world and flee to a distant planet at the edge of the milkyway. On this planet they find a group of primitive humans (the average that you see in stargate). To help rebuild they enslave this group and rebuild there society on the new planet (Kind of like the Aschen did). One day a puddle jumper comes through the gate. On board is a research team. It turns out the planet is an evolution experiment by a surviving group of ancients. The jumper is shot down and only one crew member survives the crash. She is captured and interrogated by the new inhabitants of the planet to learn about the over all development of the ancients. This knowledge move the people to enter into a short war with the ancients. upon getting the information they needed they ordered the survivor executed in which she escapes and makes it home through the stargate. The information she brings prevents the resulting conflict from being worse that what it could have been.

Thanks for the information. I've never really gotten into Stargate past the original movie which I did enjoy very much. I can see I've been missing something. Again the model is an amazing piece of work!

I started on the center control tower. It is still very basic with a lot of detail to add.



I also included an above view layout for where the landing / docking area will be added. (The note for the bus is a suggested area for a mass transit system to be added)

Oh my, that's amazing. And as you've continued to demonstrate it definitely looks Ancient in design.

That said, this is amazing, I love the aesthetics put into the design work. Those docking area additions would fit in quite well.

No we are a different group. Our project will be labeled Stargate: Origins and will be fully CGI.

I know very little about anything Stargate. But I do know I'd like very much to see this fan film to see how your beautiful work is displayed and used.

When it is done I'll see if I can get permission to post it here. That is still a while off yet since we are still in the modeling phase and there is a lot of models still to make.

Story is about done. (still getting some tweaking)

Concept work is started

As concepts are approved models are being made.
