• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Ok first let me say that I am following Westworlds book on adding ships to the game. but have run into a snag. The snag is this, I am trying to add the Premonition Class from A1 to A2 as a buildable class and can't figure out how to add Demmings Voice overs to the ODF file, I have located the WAV files for the sounds and determined what ones are for what but how do I add them to the ODF.

One of the Catches with this is I play vs my little brother over a VPN (Virtual Private Network) so I am making the Mods and such in a separate folder before adding to the game (Yes everyone should always make them in a different folder, I am keeping the exact folder format from the game for everything so all i will need to do is plug in the flash drive and copy all the files to his computer and we are ready.)

The dynamatic_strings file (in the A2 root directory) is where the voice-overs are located and the lines of code are in the main files such as cruise1.odf, battle.odf etc.

I do not have the game installed on this PC so I can't copy the code for you but that is where you will find it.
