• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. Hello everyone,

I wanted to drop in and show off a 'few' of the models that I have done over the last couple of years.

The first up is a few of my Battlestar Models.

Seeing your Stargate ships, I have a question for you EO. Sorry if it's been answered already.
I lost touch with how your Sins mod was coming along. Was just wondering if it was still in production or not?

Yes it is, and we have done a 'few' releases to get the general populations opinion on the mod.

You mod sins EO

How hard is it to take from a ready Armada 2 model to have it work as a Sin's model ?

The reason as ask this is that I don't have Armada 2 anymore, but I do have Sins. With Sins I'm at a complete lost even were to begin when it comes to modding it.

The ship I would like to see in Sin is here MSFC It the Seraphim Class it a little to big for the Armada "bulky" universe, as I'm told

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

I would be happy to convert it for you HK, I just don't know how, perhaps if EO could walk me through it.

 Another bsg mod. Awesome.

Will you be releasing these as single ships at any point in the future, or only as a major mod? They all look great btw, I love that cylon ship.

As it stands the models are going to be for Colonial Wars for Sins, but I dont see a problem with releasing them for general use. Eventually

That would be awesome. Even with them being a bit high poly, FO could handle them, even if it is just for personal use.:excited:

I'm liking what I see; more so the Stargate models (I'm more a fan of Stargate than I am Battlestar). That Atlantis model though, looks like it took quite some doing. What's the polygon count on that do I dare ask?

well that 'little' beaut weighs in at 9,960 polygons. I was amazed when building the model that I was able to keep it below 15k.

tbh, that's not bad. I wouldn't even worry about it in a2 considering the detail you have put into it.:yum:

Agreed, considering the sheer size of Atlantis and the detail you've put into the model that's a lot lower than I expected. All the other Atlantis models I've seen are well over 20k at least, and they don't all have that level of detail.

I really wouldn't have a problem putting that into A2
