Ah whoops, yes close.

Nice Ent-D story I am however confused why it's in service along side the Ent-F and why Picard isn't in command. Do you mind devolving more information about your fan-fic.

I am doing a fan fiction myself as well and I am always interested in other peoples works. :)

I'll quote myself on this one, should save time. Here's what it is in a nutshell:

My canon starts about mid-way through TNG. The USS Enterprise-D finds me in a cryogenicly frozen pod, along with a computer that is packed to the brim with EVERYTHING there is to know about the ST universe. To make a long story short, I give certain info to Starfleet over time, stop the destruction of the Enterprise-D and save Kirk, take command of said Enterprise, have her refitted to essentially over-the-top weaponry, and let certain events of ST canon play out and stop others from happening

Not terribly realistic in many cases, I know. But I like it much better, especially since the Enterprise-D and the Enterprise-E co-exist at the same time :D

Hope that clarifies a few things. I'd need to write out the entire thing to obviously give you a complete idea, but I don't think its a good idea to hog several pages of topics for that

While on routine patrol on the edge of Federation space, the USS Ronald Regan is approached by a Klingon Negh'Var. Identifying herself as the I.K.S. Duras, she immediately opens up with a torrent of firepower erupting from her disruptor cannons. Initiating hectic evasive manuvers, Admiral Kimoto brings the Ronald Regan to battlestations, cutting loose with her powerful phasers....

That there my friend, is the Galaxy-Evo Class. Rather rough around it's edges, however I do like it as a successor to the Galaxy-Class

Oh yeah. Didn't recognize it from that angle. I really despise that design. Takes all the elegant lines out of the Galaxy and chops them up to suit a Prometheus-like idea. Not a fan.

I agree, the warp engines are the only thing I like, the rest I'd rather put in the s**** bin, I wouldn't even recycle it. Plus the model is close to 6000 pollies. I won't go into that again.

But I love the image ISS, very nicely done, I am impressed. +Rep coming your way.

Yeah, the evo is not exactly the design I would choose (Dawnstar, anyone?). Nice pic though, really great angle.

The worst nightmare has returned....... the Best of Both Worlds Borg Cube.

The Borg Cube bounds toward Veridian III, preparing its assimilation. The USS Enterprise-D and the USS Neliel Tu barrel towards her, even jumping to warp in the system in an attempt to catch up. Once within range, they open up with everything within their arsenal, including Mark XIV phasers, high-yield photon, quantum and tricobalt torpedoes. As hell ensues in the following battle, Captain Negron cannot help but feel a sense of irony, as he is now helping to save the planet that would have been the original final resting place of the Enterprise-D

DoubleTrouble.png

My third pic with post-edits, obviously just blur effects. Came out excellent. I might start doing this in more of my pics from now on, gives a much better sense of action.

Looks like the two ships are in for a massive challenge, and I believe they may need more help to win. Great pic anyway. :D

Well at this point in time, the Veridians are a part of the Federation. There are more ships within a parsec, so they'd be there soon. Especially since the Veridians had been able to invent advanced communication technology, able to bypass many communication jammers. Distress calls sent out would reach the rest of the Fleet

Nice to see that there's no shortage of us Galaxy-Class lovers. :D

I know there are people out there though who aren't big fans of her, though. That's why I like to have a variety of ships in my pics. Helps to please everyone.

Argh, and here I just gave a speech about not caring about what people don't like about my work..... :silence: I'm such a paradox at times....

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to ISS_Enterprise_D again.

It's a shame, I've just catched up with all your new stuff today and I can't even give an ounce of rep. :p

In any case, rock on man.

Y'know, I think I have an excellent concept for a pic, but the textures that I will need most certainly don't exist. Might start a seperate topic tomorrow to see if it peaks anyone's interest; this pic concept is community-oriented, so I'd like to get as much input as possible. But alas, the night creeps up. I'm done for the night

Wooow, those look really good! Is that the hi-poly Voyager I remember seeing over at A2Files? Epic shot, thumbs up! :worship:
