Of what might be lost Armada Modding history!!!! I have been slowly transfering files from old hard drives from an old computer of mine i dismantled years ago.. and discovered all sorts of Armada mods from a variety of sources.. including a mod of my own that I did submit one of the modding sites years ago...

I even discovered some MSFC mods that i downloaded from as far back as 2009. Not sure if these files are still available.. but I could provide a catalog of them and see if they are worth reuploading. keep in mind these are the original zipped files.. not folders that will have to be repackaged.

Majestic, if you read this... reach out and lets see if we can't figure out if these files still exist on your server somewhere

Yeah, I also have a whole bunch of old MSFC files that never got re-uploaded after we retired our old download server. Some of the people who made them are still around, might be worth it to ask around whether they would mind seeing their work available again. (Maj might have a backup of the old file server as well.)

I can only imagine all the old mods and such that people have lying around on unused HD's. I wish at times we were back in the earlyj-mid 2000's in the modding heyday and I could actually be a part of it.

So my Constiution Class mod might be there somehwere!! Cause Hellkite said he couldn't find any record that i ever uploaded it.. but I know I did! Cause I still have the IMs from waaayy back in the day

Yeah, I have a lot of your old retexture works that disappeared with the old file server.

Remembered this thread today, and I still really want to do that. If no one else wants to volunteer, I'll see if I can't set up a dropbox or something like that to share files. Probably best to share the link via pm, as threads in this forum section can be read without an account. And modders who want their work available in the download section again would be welcome to upload them.

Also, I'm assuming that, since these files used to be hosted here and weren't removed by their owners, doing this is okay. If any of our admins have objections, please let me know.

Im still digging around through recovered files on my newish pc. I have recovered all my released stuff except the SSD. I have turned up what I think is a complete set of all of Destynova's SFB stile ships and my half finished tholian rock skins

What kind of Starfleet Battles Ships have you found? For what races?

Its been a decade since he handed down this link to us on Dynnaverse but he was cool with use as long as proper credits were maintained. He was very chill about it.

Ok found an old HD in the attic yesterday go digging around and find 73 gig of mod and models including Warlords, and models from wing commander 2 Also have mi old reference library of studio and study models back. any body need anything?

obvi, I have the Bird of Prey.. and I have the VodLeh C8 Battle Cruiser (it will be a DN in our mod) and Ive seen number 3 in other mods... notably KA2 I believe..

That's not a BOP its a Qud class destroyer. Shes bigger meaner than A BOP. The 3 engine beasty is the Warriors Anger is a Command Cruiser equivalent to a Constitution or Lexington class Cruisers. The Emperor is not a DN she is a Heavy Battlecruiser like Excelsior. The massive Accuser class is the DN of the time.

So to nitpick, that's not a Qud. It's a BOP with added guns. The Qud has very differently shaped wings and head.

I know.. I'm using the VodLeh C8 as a DN.. I know it was designed as a BattleCruiser..

I'm using one of his C7s as my Battle Cruiser (CG) and the other C7 as a Tactical Cruiser (CT).
