• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

    Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

    We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

G'day

I'm new to modding but for a game like Armada 2 to still be active is unreal. I've played Fleet ops since as long as i can remember owning armada 2.
I'm looking at Ent era/ Romulan war as a starting point
any help to threads would be great.

Back when I played A2, my second favourite mod was the Romulan War mod. It's listed as a demo but it had fleshed out Romulan and Earth fleets. Note that this is old school Romulan War history, so no NX class. It was designed for stock A2, so some assembly likely required for FO.

I spent many a day expanding this mod with Klingon and Starfleet ships from the Enterprise series, this was my starting point for the Klingons:

I always liked the Klingon ships from "Enterprise" and just needed to have them for my Armada II install.

Everything else was individual releases, I'm confident that you can find an NX or ten. I'm sure I've seen a Vulcan pack and a couple of Andorians floating about on filefront/here too (I think I made a Vulcan ship spawnable from a trade station back in the day).

Once you get over the download restrictions on this site (you just need to get involved in the forums, don't be shy) then look up Majestics Coalition War ships, which were an expanded/alternate take on NX era Starfleet.

If you are looking for other ideas, I suggest the Endeavour fanfic series which is set during the Romulan War.
