Kjc733 thanks for taking the time to look over my drawings. Its nice to have someone that actually appreciates my work. Your right in that my first nova was heavily based on the THG TM, plus I was like 14 and heavy into cannon ideas. So with a year or so wrapped up in the first drawings I came to the same conclusions. I hated the nacelles and wanted sleek ones, I want to add some lines to the engineering section to mimic the Excelsior II, I needed a larger saucer to incorporate an internal warp drive and deflector dish, and I want to update the hole design to be sleeker.
As to your point of the modular section I did incorporate them but I guess they didn't show up well. I'll have to do a better job this time around so thanks for the heads up.
I soooo agree with you that movable pylons and nacelles are a REALLY BAD idea! I didn't have them in my first design and the N2 won't either. Besides if you want to modulate warp fields having the internal warp coils move would be a better idea imo
Again thanks and I hope to have new drawing soon.
Update
I think I'm going to change the name of my ship to Phoenix Class since the nova is a "cannon" ship. The updated file should show up better now. I also add some specs. I need some help on the Type of fighters and shuttles I should spec out. Comments are welcome.
