• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

    Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

    We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

Halo 3 is the third game in the Halo Trilogy and will provide the thrilling conclusion to the events begun in Halo: Combat Evolved. Halo 3 was first revealed at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles on May 6th, 2006. Halo 3 will be available for Xbox 360 in 2007.
Halo 3 will pick up where Halo 2 left off. The Master Chief is returning to Earth to finish the fight. The Covenant occupation of Earth has uncovered a massive and ancient object beneath the African sands - an object who's secrets have yet to be revealed. Earth's forces are battered and beaten.
The Master Chief's AI companion Cortana is still trapped in the clutches of the Gravemind - a horrifying Flood intelligence, and a civil war is raging in the heart of the Covenant. This is how the world ends...

Its not long now, next month is when it's due out world wide there are also three packages available.

  1. Just the game.
  2. The game and the making of Halo 3.
  3. The game, the making of Halo 1, Halo 2 and Halo 3 plus a replica of the Master Chief's helmet where I believe you can store the games in.

Naturally I pre-ordered and fully paid for the last one. :lol:

for what its worth, the multiplayer online beta is great fun... even if i do suck at it:D

so tempted to chant "i've played halo 3 nya nya nya nya nya nya" :lol: . the beta counts ...;)

You need to have a copy of Crackdown to be able to get it.

I do know there's another way of doing it as well, but unfortunately i dont know what it is. So i'm very glad my brother had a copy of crackdown that i could steal :D

Ah...Halo...such memories. I'm still waiting for more info on the Halo RTS , though. Shooters are great and all , but I'd like to see hundreds of SPARTANS charging those Covenant buggers...

I dont even own a 360 and I'll still buy Halo 3 sometime on or before the release date. :D I also want Halo Wars though, so you two aren't alone ;)

I'm getting both to, the difference is I actually own a 360. :lol: So I guess your planning on getting a 360 then Trekie?

GTA is therapy to me. If it weren't for Vice City , I would have probably murdered my boss at the time...come to think of it....thank God for Red Faction , too.

Should have made my boss play that one...

Teach him to treat his employees like dirt...I may have one day started a Revolt with my Precision Rifle

I just heard from a friend that his college (Pharmacy school... :yuck: ) is allowing them to have a Halo 3 LAN party on launch day. He said that they were going to network 16 360's and play on big screen tv's. I think that at that moment I hated him...

I'm selling most off my old NES, N64, PS2, PC and a few Xbox games just to get the money to buy a 360... let alone Halo 3.

:lol: I don't blame you, I wouldn't be happy either. But Halo 3 is so going to be worth it if Halo 2 is any indication. And Halo 2 was released several years ago (3 I think).

Ive recently bought myself an xbox 360.
I hope they dont sell out of halo 3s on the first day because i havnt preordered it.

I would pre-order it if I was you, as I am certain that they will. Halo is one of the most popular computer games around. They ran out of Halo 2's on the first day at my local shop and Halo 1 did have the big cliffhangar as Halo 2 has.

If you have access to a credit/debit card you can preorder it on several sites, Amazon.com, GameStop.com... And many many more, if not you can likely go to a local BestBuy, Wal-Mart, Target, etc... and place a pre-order there...

I'm happy... My mom helped me pre order halo 3 and order the halo 3 edition 360... :excited:

But now I owe her $510.15... :(

But Halo 3 is on it's way and that's all that matters right now... I'll figure out how to pay her back later.

i'm of 2 minds whether to or not. on the one hand, its gonna be a must have game.
On the other, i suck at Halo completely and utterly lol

ill maybe wait a while then get it.

Heh... Yeah... My dad wouldn't like that.......... So park at the neighbors... :D
