• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

I made a few model and placed them into A2 but only 1/2 of the ship shows up until you zoom into it then next 1/2 appears and first half disappears ? How do I fix ?

Sounds like some form of texture or mesh lodding (i.e, one texture is loaded as lod 0 and another as lod 1, so when zoomed out half the ship is missing as it has no texture at that lod level, reverse holding true for the other lod).

Make sure you don't have any textures with _1 or _2 after them being applied, and make sure your model is DEVOID of lods, as you don't need them with modern hardware.

ok then I should get rid of lod1 and lod2 then there would be no model how exactly should i get rid of lod 0 ? I have no lod_1 or lod_2 any where ..

Did I say to get rid of lod 0? No, lod 0 is the main lod, the one you want to keep. When I said make sure its devoid of lods, I meant the secondary and tertiary lods that are sometimes present in a model. Could you post a screenshot of the ship with the skeleton turned off?
