Enterprise A

Ladies and gentlemen ( term used loosely ) I had gotten a few things of my Dad's after his passing. Of these things were a box of Star Trek memorabilia. A bunch of those Micro Machines Star Trek ships, a die cast of a Ferengi Marauder, Regula 1, Oberth, and a poster of the Enterprise A. I thought to myself that the poster would make an awesome desk top. Well, I scanned it in and pieced it back together (I had to scan it in four sections). Well, I have decided to share it with the community. I will also use this thread for any other 2-D art I do or STO Screenshots that could make good desk tops.

I had the same problem when I put it on my screen but, I used photoshop to increase the image size. The image is still smooth so I can add it if you would like.

I am sure there would be many here that would like a larger view, I probably wouldn't use it myself as I try to avoid light colour desktop images but it's a great image and thanks for sharing it with us.

I remember that it came from the USS Enterprise NCC 1701 A from Star Trek V model kit and the kit also had a to scale shuttlecraft. you can see the brig on the poster

ah a nice trip down memory lane. I still need to move that out of the parents house (once I figure out where to put it in mine!). The poster was also in a BoP kit, and as others have stated its a great poster - tonnes of detail, used to spend ages just taking in the lines.

Kirks smirk was a bit off putting at times though

Those are very nice pics, the larger Enterprise poster is very cool, just like the model kit of the Enterprise-A, I have a similar one, also with a shuttlecraft, but the pic was different.

THat Klingon Cruiser looks deadly, it might have been only one, but still has a punch and should not be taken lightly.

Thank you. I am just getting started with Blender. Once I learn how to use multiple blender files in a single scene, there will be more ships.
