• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

    Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

    We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

I would like to announce to everyone this sad, sad news. One of our finest members and dear friend is soon to depart from us to once again join the battle over in Iraq. In the next few days, he is expecting to get the notice to report for duty. Once that happens, we will not see Hellkite for a long time. He is expecting this tour of duty to last 8 months or longer.

So, as a last chance to tell him how much we value his friendship, leadership, and sacrifice, We will be having an "Going away - Chat Party" tomorrow at about the same time (it's about 10:30pm my timezone). Just look at the time I posted this message, and that's about the time we should be online.

The chat begins at 9pm CST /10pm EST.

I am sorry, but we don't have much time. I will be making a log file of the chat to post right here for those that miss out.

I hope as many of you can get on this as possible. We don't have much time left to have him around before he heads off to battle.

Spread the word. Just add Majestic, Hellkite, or myself to your MSN list, and once you see one of us, contact us via the chat and we will invite you to the party.

I will not be posting a log file of the chat. Mostly because of some technical problems we had. That, and I would have had to edit it a lot..

Needless to say, thank you all for stopping and taking time from you busy schedules to show Hellkite we support him, and that he will be missed while he is away from us.

Some of you may see Hellkite online still. This means he hasn't had to leave yet. But take it with a grain of salt. At any moment, we will lose him, we just don't know exactly when. It could be right now, tonight, tomorrow, or next week. So, any of you not given him wyour best wishes, you still have a chance, possibly. If you see him, he is just lucky for a few more minutes.

I think this drives me more insane than the rest of the story.:silence:
