Echoes:
Episode 7.
Very amusing seeing Ms DeWitt jumping on a tampoline. Also amusing seeing Dominic hugging Echo.
Very funny that Topher making Victor an NSA agent and Dominic's reaction to it.
The flashback scenes were not bad and it does provide a good story on the circumstances of Caroline (Echo) becoming a Doll.
Did not expect at the end Ms DeWitt recruiting Sam as a Doll.

Needs:
Episode 8.
Very intriguing episode having some of the Actives, Echo, Victor, Sierra and November having some of their original personalities only for it to be revealed this has all been staged for them.
When all the Actives were walking out of the Dollhouse I thought is this really the end (notwithstanding the fact that there are five episodes left to be shown in this series) before Echo collapsed.
Also was not surprised that opening scene was a dream.

Episode 13 will not aired (in the US) but will instead be released on DVD and Joss Whedon has refuted speculation that Fox was set to cancel the series:
From Wikipedia-
"On April 9, 2009, actress Felicia Day posted on Twitter that the 13th episode of the first season of "Dollhouse," which she guest-starred in, would not air. Whedon refuted speculation that Fox was set to cancel the show, and producer Tim Minear explained that the missing 13th episode would be on the DVD. The reason Minear gave for the episode's being dropped was that Fox was counting a pilot that was reshot as part of the original 13-episode order."

Read at the Doctor Who Forum that episode 12 will tie up the loose ends and episode 13 serves as the coda episode.

A Spy in the House of Love:
Episode 9.
Surprising that Paul Ballard gets to find out that Mellie is a Doll. Did not expect this to happen this soon.
Very surprising Victor and Ms DeWitt.
Dominic finally got what he deserved.
Well deserved Langdon's promotion as head of security although it meant he is no longer going to be Echo's handler.

Haunted:
Episode 10.
This episode feels somewhat like an opposite to Tru Calling the series that Eliza Dushku starred in instead of doing a Faith series. Tru Calling has Eliza's character going back in time to prevent someone dying. Here in this Dollhouse episode she has the personality of a dead friend of Ms DeWitt as she finds out how she died.
Quite a tender scene towards the end between Echo as the dead woman and her son. Too bad it turned out to be an act from the son.
Also a nice appearance from Gregg Henry who previously appeared in the Whedonverse in Firefly: The Train Job.
Very good fun of Topher having Sierra as a playmate.

Briar Rose:
Episode 11.
Alan Tudyk (formerly of Firefly) appears here and his presence in this episode means that representatives of Joss Whedon's past shows are together in the Dollhouse with Eliza Dushku (Buffy/Angel) and Amy Acker (Angel).
I had an inkling that Alan Tudyk's character was Alpha a couple of minutes before that turn out to be true.
A pretty good lead up to the next episode.

Omega:
Episode 12.
The final (?) transmitted episode as episode 13 will be released straight to DVD.
Had an inkling about it but Dr Saunders has been revealed to have been a Doll after replacing the real Dr Saunders who was killed by Alpha.
Topher mentioned fireflies. Wonder if that was intended to be a reference to the Firefly TV series.
Very tense episode this leading to Echo's battle with Alpha.
If this turns out to be the end of the series than the series would be left open-ended with Alpha still at large.
After finally finding the Dollhouse it is amazing that Paul Ballard decides to work for them as part of the deal that sees Mellie or Madeline, as she is revealed to be, getting her freedom.
Very eerie last line for the episode with Echo saying Caroline.

Found from Richard Foxon at the Gallifrey Base forum that season 2 of Dollhouse will start (in the US) on September 18.

Meanwhile the tv guide from the Sydney Sunday Telegraph has an interview with Dichen Lachman (Sierra). From the article it says that Dollhouse got saved as a result of support from the fans and Ms Lachman says, "It was remarkable and really proved that the fans of Joss [Whedon] don't just like his shows, they love them."

Echo:
The unaired pilot.

Usually an unaired pilot is the original version of the story that was presented in the aired pilot.
However, notwithstanding some same scenes, the unaired pilot has a different opening story to the aired pilot Ghost including Paul Ballard meeting Echo for the first time rather than in a later broadcast episode.
If there is one niggle is with the teaser in which scenes seemed to be jumbled together rather incoherently. Other than that it was a rather good pilot including Echo's assassination attempt on Paul Ballard.

Epitaph One:
Season 1, Episode 13.
It is always wonderful to see Felicia Day but this episode taking place in the future sure looked depressing.
Quite interesting intercutting to the past on the last days of the Dollhouse.
The little girl revealing to be the killer was quite a shock and also interesting when Echo inhabited her body.

Meanwhile Alexis Denisof (Wesley in Angel) will be appearing in a couple episodes of Dollhouse season 2 including the season premiere. This marks Denisof's first appearance in the Whedonverse since the final episode of Angel.

Tahmoh Penikett's former BSG co-stars Jamie Bamber and Michael Hogan are among the guest stars in the first few episodes of season 2.

Former Firefly/Serenity star Summer Glau makes a return to the Whedonverse in season 2 of Dollhouse:
Summer Glau Cast in 'Dollhouse'

"Glau will appear in a multi-episode story arc set to unfold later in the upcoming second season.

She will play a character named Bennett who has a history with Eliza Dushku’s Echo and who has an apparent connection to another, as yet unknown Dollhouse character."

Vows:
Season 2, Episode 1.
A minor niggle with the credits is that while Angel alums Amy Acker and Alexis Denisof are credited under the guest starring label, Tahmoh Penikett's former BSG co-star Jamie Bamber is credited as Special Guest Star. Why does Jamie Bamber get to be a special guest star and not Amy and Alexis.
Not very impressed with this season opener and Jamie Bamber makes for a very bland villain.
Felt a little disconcerted hearing Alexis in an American accent.

Instinct:
Season 2, Episode 2.
Better than the opening episode of the season.
Surprising to see Echo being a mother to a baby boy.
Even though it wasn't real Echo showed real maternal instinct to the baby boy. The maternal instinct was so real to her that it even withstood the wipe against her.
Wonder who sent that file to Senator Perrin.
A bit of a surprise to see Mellie again (although I probably should have seen it coming) and even though she has no memory of her experiences with him it was quite a nice reunion with Paul Ballard.
The dialogue between Ballard and Echo was done well with Echo saying she is not going to sleep again.
