I have been working on my idea for a little while now. I had problems getting my vision to translate but, I think I am on the right track now.

I have the saucer section mostly done. I am doing this with more detail than I normally work with for obvious reasons.

I just voted. Are you sure that you wait at least 24 hours since your last vote/attempt on vote? The contest reset the timer for then you can vote next time, even then you weren't able to vote.

Lets hope you hit first place. I tried again to vote but still no luck. That system they are using is horrid. For a company it's pathetic and really if that's what there site is like I am happy I don't have their game, or at least paid for it.

Grats HK! I voted for your design as well, although I didn't know it's yours. Ut there were so many designs which lacked of any creativity - at least for my taste. Yours (and some other designs) didn't.

A Prometheus is now at first place, and I would say that one don't qualify to the rules of the contest as the ships sent in must be something never created before.
And I see that second place has the kitbash of Excelsior and Sovereign.

And now the contest is buggy again, as I couldn't vote, even though it's almost three days since I visited the site.

For me it's the same thing. The higher rate, the higher vote. After all we vote through giving rates. Thus it don't help having the highest number of votes if someone else got higher rate.

See all new entry's are rated 5 star from the get go. Were votes are earned by having people vote for your design.

In the end the Votes are what counts to determent the winner

It's a combination, actually. As they say, the ratings are used to help find the 25 winners then the judges in the panel looks through the submissions.

Anyway, no matter the vote type, it does looks good there for you.

Especially that Shan Tourangeou, the winner of the Luna Class design contest nominated his design as well. I think this qualifies your model even more
