Hello:
Oh yeah! I was talking abou this with someone on DeviantArt. While it is not the way they wanted to do Axanar due to CBS' new draconic rules, at least it is still in production! :excited:

Sigh, after seeing the level of production on "Prelude to Axanar" it is an embarrassment what CBS has done to these people.

Nevertheless, a terrific amount of progress and great ingenuity of working with what they have and making the most out of it, Mr. Scott would be proud!

This looks and feels way more authentic in tone and aesthetic to TOS. And the story they have outlined in Axanar is way better interpretation of a Klingon and Federation war. Love this a thousandfold more than STD.

Great job Axanar team!

Is Axanar still going, I’ve seen the prelude and the interlude but it’s been a while now since anything on gathering storm was released

The Axanar team spend a lot of time raising funds and they've moved facilities at least once. I still get update emails so I'm assuming that they are still active.

It’s such a waste what cbs/paramount did with their rules, fan films and fans themselves are what keep franchises like Star Trek alive. The prelude was great for a fan film and hope gathering storm is able to finish it in time.

Hello:
And we all know that is not the worst part, because of how CBS won the case against the "Tardigrades" indie game developper so they've got away stealing character design (for most of the main case of Discovery) and the original use of giant tardigrades as means of using the drive. So there is now a precedent and we now know any companies can steal whatever they want from any of us.... unless we only show a finished product. There is no protection against them.

yeah that was a joke, pretty much steal whatever you want and throw money at it till you win or goes away.
but then again discovery was a joke, so much potential but then nothing. the tardigrades was the least of its problems lol

Hi. Thank you for the link to their web site. A lot of good info on there. I do like the cutaway poster of the Ares.
