Webisode 1:
A very good start to the series and Amanda Tapping is very good as the lead character.

Sanctuary is to make its transition to television produced by Sci Fi:
SCI FI Wire | The News Service of the SCI FI Channel | SCIFI.COM

If Sci Fi here in Australia gets to show it, I hope we get to see the web series first as the first four of the eight webisodes were available to view for free in video sites such as YouTube.

I therefore have not seen the last four episodes of the web series as it is only available for purchase.

To Australian viewers:
Sanctuary will be fasttracked on Sci Fi.

This was announced in an ad which I saw during a break of the latest fasttracked episode of Battlestar Galactica.

At my sci fi club saw the first seven episodes of the TV series. Contrary to what I thought before the TV series is not a continuation of the webisodes. Using the same main actors the beginning is a complete makeover with it being a combination and rewriting of the first four webisodes.

The TV series is pretty good.

Upon watching it can't help but think of Sanctuary being like Torchwood.

While I do not think that Torchwood season 1 was a bad season, the way that Sanctuary has been executed from the episodes I have seen so far, is the way that first season of Torchwood should have been done. After all there is only one chance to make a good first impression.

I saw the last four webisodes which had been available for purchase. They are available at YouTube.

The main plot of these four webisodes is that of three women that the team has found in the crypt. This was later reused for the episode Fata Morgana in the TV series but these webisodes still has elements that are different to the TV episode.

The webisodes ends on a cliffhanger but they are not continued onto the TV series because as I mentioned before the TV series is a complete makeover starting things from the beginning again.

Requiem:
Season 1, Episode 9.
Involving only Helen and Will in a submarine this has been a very good episode as they investigate strange going ons in the Bermuda Triangle where they soon encounter an aggressive parasite.
Fun during the teaser sequence when Will asked about the historical people Helen has met. This included the Roosevelt Presidents with her saying that Teddy was more fun than Frank.

Warriors:
Season 1, Episode 10.
This episode had a Fight Club type plot. Torchwood also had a Fight Club type plot during its first season with Combat.
In fact the placing of the aforementioned Torchwood & Sanctuary in the respective first seasons is close but not exact. As the Sanctuary episode was 1 x 10, Combat for Torchwood was 1 x 11.
Not a bad episode and quite interesting the way Helen's father was incorporated into the storyline.

Instinct:
Season 1, Episode 11.
In a plot obviously inspired by Cloverfield an inspiring reporter played by the lovely Rekha Sharma goes with her cameraman to investigate strange going ons in a warehouse where they encounter an Abnormal and the Sanctuary team and most of the episode is played from the perspective of what the cameraman sees through his filming of the events here. The only 'normal' part of the episode takes place in the epilogue on the aftermath of what has happened.
Overall the Cloverfield type device used for this episode has been done well and Amy Saunders (Rekha Sharma) sure got a surprise at the end.

Revelations Part 1:
Season 1, Episode 12.
What a revelation (no pun intended) that Sherlock Holmes was modelled on Dr James Watson even though the Watson name was used for the name of the sidekick.
Christine Chatelain (Clara Griffin) is very gorgeous.
The end of this episode takes place in India. Coincidentally one of this year's Torchwood radio plays Golden Age also took place in India. This Sanctuary episode was originally aired on December 29 2008 while the Torchwood radio play had been broadcast on July 2 2009.
A good cliffhanger.

Revelations Part II:
Season 1 finale.
Funny when John Druitt said "Elementary my dear Watson" to James Watson!
Pretty good cliffhanger with Ashley being the Trojan Horse.

End of Nights Part 1:
Season 2 opener.
Taking place six weeks after the season 1 cliffhanger.
Quite surprise that Ryan Robbins has not yet been made a regular and instead gets in the guest credits the unusual credit of "And With".
I was also hoping that Christine Chatelain be a regular as well but she only appeared briefly in this episode.
Funny when Tesla called Will "Huggy Bear".
Helen and Will went to meet a Martin Wood. Obviously named after the episode's director.
Quite intense when Helen shot Kate Freelander's foot.
Terrifying on what Ashley has become.
Quite a good cliffhanger.
