• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

I have returned :).

Anyways, you may have noticed that I've been missing for the past three months or so. My reasoning was simple: I had uni' assignments coming up (late March for anyone interested), and wanted to focus on those. Knowing my talent for procrastination (especially when studying feminist literary theory...) I decided to take somewhat drastic measures and unplugged my computer.

No really, I did. I put my old laptop in its place. It's slow, but it can run a word processor which was all that I needed.

However, I'm done now. I've three exams in May, but that's quite a long way off and revision kind of slots itself in as and when I get a free moment.

So, yeah, hey everyone :D.

It's great to see you back, was wondering where you went, thought you might of discovered something awe inspiring like a crashed alien spaceship or something. :lol2:

Thanks guys :).

Well there was a Ford Fiesta that crashed into the roundabout down the road. Does that count?

Good to hear from you again, Amateur!
It does need a certain degree of self discipline to do that. I know I can never really get myself together until I really have to (finish papers, go to the tax office etc).

A crashed Ford Fiesta would definately count as something alien, as I have found out, that the people who "drive" these "vehicles" cannot be from this world.

Congratulations on finishing your uni assignment. That's the exact reason why I would not want to study: these assignments. For the last year some people were trying to push me into studying Medicine, but no, thanks.
