A rerelease of activision games?

Not sure if anyone’s posted this up here yet so I’ll do it now.

I mean, I wouldn't mind if they got put back on sale. Hopefully with some sort of updated mutliplayer to allow people to actually play it with other people. Mod support would be nice too, given the abundance of mods available for these games.

You never know. We’ve had Starfleet Academy , Starfleet Command and Judgement rites up on both GOG and Steam for years now. Steam’s probably far better at hiding new releases than something like GOG, so who knows?

Starfleet Academy is one I'd really like to see remastered. I wish I knew where my copy had vanished to (along with my copy of Megafortress with a paper instruction manual). Starfleet Academy was more than just "keep shooting till it's dead Jim" but the last time I tried it the external graphics were really dated (bridge wasn't too bad though).

I'm intent on getting SFC3 and the Armadas at the first opportunity. From what I'm hearing SFC3's fully patched up, and it works in full screen now.

Away Team, Bridge Commander and the Elite force games are pretty good and a lot of fun back in the day. Still got the original copies floating around somewhere.

pretty stoked for this.. would love to play STA1 again... and be able to mod it... Wish SFCII EAW/OP was coming as well.. but for not its not..

The real hope is that this will also lead to a renaissance of modding for those games. Get people besides us interested again.

I could definitely be persuaded to get into some SFC3 modding again!! I mostly downloaded mods.. but id like to reconvert some of my ships to SFC..

I'm seeing a lot of reports of major bugs in SFC3 at least. I'm hoping that they will patch soon. I haven't checked the reviews for Bridge Commander yet.

ouch.. thats no bueno.. have you played at all yet?

I haven't yet. I'm trying to get to it, but life keeps interfering haha.

I remember that the original game had similar bugs on launch, which was a pain to deal with back in the days of dial-up.
