• Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.

Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.

We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.

I think that many of our problems would be solved if voters in this country actually knew who they were voting for and understood the ideals those people stood for.
Provided the case that they actually have ideals. I'm not so sure about that. With all the German politicians who are now revealed to have cheated to get their doctor's degree, do these people even have morals? :yuck:

That true too. You can't always account for people who lie to get into office, but at least, if people did their own research and studied their political officials before they elected them, they might be more likely to find out.

We need a better system to hold these dirt bags accountable rather than being held hostage between elections. after this last round I would personaly have liked to fire the vast majority of them including lead from the back Obama on the spot. This is **** and we should let them hold our futurs hostage like this no mater where we live. There needs to be a way for the Amarican people to say "you are not doing you job, infact you are doing so bad your fired now. We can't aford to let you screw up any more until you are up for reelection." I bet if we could fire them like normal people they would do a better job since they would know we were always looking over there shoulder.

so you would be in favor os some thing like a vote of no confidences

like in the British system

A vote of no confidence is also called a motion of no confidence, a censure motion, a no confidence motion, or a confidence motion. According to Westminster parliamentary procedure, governments often respond to a vote of no confidence by calling for a confidence motion. Parliament passes or rejects the vote. Typically, when a vote of no confidence passes parliament, the government official must either resign or seek a parliamentary dissolution or general election.

Oh, I would certainly be in favor of starting from scratch concerning elected officials. however, not when we still have troops on foreign ground. Maybe if there were such a thing as a time of peace, then we could do it.
