10,000 Posts!

I would like to point out that our Head of staff here at MSFC will be making his 10,000th post here soon. Already at 9,996, I expect this will happen very very soon... (I expect in the next 24hrs or less)

Now, I want to know, should there be an award for that?

Reaching 10,000 posts on a forum, regardless of being a staff member or just a regular member. 10,000 posts is a huge amount of "typing" no matter how anyone looks at it. And that don't even count the number of PMs, and other things that don't count toward that milestone.

So all I can say is Bravo! Way to go! Congradulations!

I mean, I myself as the second highest poster, am still under 5,000 posts!

Thanks guys, nice to know people notice the small things. I have been thinking for sometime of doing the roll back of the post counts that were collected from the old forums. I mean really we have been here for 2 years (vBulletin wise) and members like Iccky (been inactive for like the whole time) and Tib have rarely posted and they are the 3rd and 4th highest posters.

Award? I don't like giving myself awards I like people to nominate me as I feel like I am cheating being the owner of the site and all. I was even not all that happy issuing myself the referrer award.

I am going to have to stop posting and let others catch up.

Don't forget the countless hours with the site code, editing it and improving upon it. Speaking of which in the next couple of days I will have to get back into it and make some new nifty changes.

You can try, I am actually trying to hold off the 10,000 posts.
You'll be surprised how fast it catches up. Last time I looked I only had about 9,300.

No editors, just raw code. But I do template back ups in the Senior Staff room so I can revert back if something goes wrong.
