Hello and welcome to MSFC. We are a small and close knitted community who specialises in modding the game Star Trek Armada 2 and the Fleet Operations modification, however we have an open field for discussing a number of topics including movies, real life events and everything in-between.
Being such a close community, we do have some restrictions, including all users required to be registered before being able to post as well as all members requiring to have participated in the community for sometime before being able to download our modding files to name the main ones. This is done for both the protection of our members and to encourage new members to get involved with the community. We also require all new registrations to first be authorised by an Administrator and to also have an active and confirmed email account.
We have a policy of fairness and a non harassment environment, with the staff quick to act on the rare occasion of when this policy is breached. Feel free to register and join our community.
Wait, what?!?
I don't see it in the crayon box!!! I only recognise the colors in the crayon box!!
[Jaws] You're gonna need a bigger box. [/Jaws]
I know that But its more of a reddish white than a pink.
To keep this on topic
*ahem* gentlemen, If I may add some contributions.
Mileage may vary so deal with it
See what happens when you breach someone's warp core?.....
Oh, and Fahres, I also hate competition these days. It seriously takes the fun away with all the unnecessary comparisons and assertion of superiority. I'm sure you of all people can understand that.

Cross-breeding..... >.>
Anywho, time to up the ante then. Got some new ideas to boot lol.
Archer's newest weapon in the Romulan War.
Yet the Enterprise-D refuses to be outshined!
Also a bit of random product placement. My thanks to the many nitpickers I've met over the years.

To quote one of my favorite lines from any movie,
"Why so serious?"Ever wonder if Ent's ego is the same size as her Captain's?

WOW. I love that shot. I mean, the D is HUGE! The D is FAT! The D is GREAT! Everyone loves the D! (Why do I sound like a cheerleader?) Come on, even if you only read the registry NCC-1701-D it makes you shudder. Many people simply don't realize how huge a 650m ship would be. That is why I am not happy with the "official" size of the JJprise. I mean, when TNG started the Galaxy was supposed to be an impressive ship, larger than any other ship built before. I don't know if it was ever stated on-screen, but the makers thought that there should only be 6-12 of these huge ships. And if you look at the Galaxy, her design really shows how big and elegant she is. Scaling ships up just to make them "cool" is not elegant at all, if you ask me.
Two quick ones, from the heart. ^_^
The designer, yes. 366 sounds good. However, I was talking about the VFX scaling. It is a fact that ILM scaled the ship up to between 700m and 750m (I've found different sizes). And THAT is simply ridiculous.Ex Astria Scientia has an interesting article on the scale of the new Enterprise. They say that the designer of the ship scaled it to be 366m long. That makes it just a little longer than the TMP Enterprise. If that is what the original designer thought.....then that is "official" to me.
I actually have a revised version of the sheet. Along with a corrected 366 meter JJPrise and V3 of my AR Excelsior: LINK
I will admit that I'm one of the few people who actually support a 725m long behemoth for a grander vessel. Each to his own I guess. Then again, it has given me ideas for my next lolpics.
