"Veteran actress Jane Wyatt dies

Veteran actress Jane Wyatt, known to millions as the on-screen wife of Robert Young in the beloved Father Knows Best and to classic Star Trek fans as Amanda, the mother of Spock, has passed away.
Her publicist said Wyatt, 96, died in her sleep of natural causes at her Bel-Air home on Friday.

According to the Associated Press, Wyatt had a successful film career in the 30s and 40s, including a role in the original Lost Horizon opposite Ronald Colman.

Her real fame came in thr 50s when she starred in 207 episodes of Father Knows Best (1954-60) as Margaret Anderson and won three Emmys in a row from 1958 to 1960.

Wyatt also appeared as Mr Spock's mother in the original Trek series and feature films."

EDIT: Unfortunately due to my mistake, the thread title still reads "Amanda Wyatt" instead of Jane Wyatt. So could someone please fix the name of this thread.

Delicately program torpedo to encompass neared sun in honor of Joseph Peveney. Then on personal comm state loudly through hallowed halls, " All Hands a moment of silence will begin now."
A physical gesture { hand slowly salute photon Torpedo}. Finally a Torpedo launches from front battery of a small unknown Prometheus Class Battle Ready Cruise.
" Silence Deadens it hallways only the sound of the torpedo launch is heard over the comm system. "
Now at the end a finial word , " May He always be remembered with this memorial of a single torpedo encompassing the sun of SIGMA 8 "

Oh dear. This is not starting the new year off so well. Ricardo was a wonderful actor, and most people that watched him (as Khan) loved to hate him (as Khan), yet loved him and his "style" that he had. I also remember him in other roles (like Fantasy Island), and he was a very good actor. He will be missed.:cry2:
