Season 3 Episode 4 (spoiler)

Ok for those of you that watched it (Exodus pt. 2) what was the single most impressive thing you saw in the episode (there were a few)?

For me it had to be Galactica's jump into New Caprica's atmosphere, falling like a rock down to a few thousand feet while launching Vipers, then Jumping out again whlie a shockwave emanates from the jump. Then they become a sitting duck cuz they are crazy like that and the Peggy comes to the rescue, destroying one Basestar through sheer firepower, then ramming another Basestar, and lastly the Peggy's port flight pod took out another Basestar after it rammed the 2nd ship.

Talk about an expensive SFX episode sheesh.

Not happy that they did that, Pegasus was the reason I started to really enjoy the series. Now its gone. :yuck:

Yeah but what a way to go, Peggy torched 3 Basestars by itself, no stinkin Galactica helpin. Did you like the scene where Galactica jumps into the Atmosphere and out again, or was that not in that clip?
I liked the Peggy and all, but not as a ship until Lee got command. Cain made the ship a POS in my mind, but they can't be that bad, I just wish Galactica could use both flight pods.

I wonder what will happen to Commander Adama (Lee) now. Did he escape? Will be be demoted if he did? Will they get another Colonial warship? I can't see the Galactica being the only defense of the fleet, not anymore, not after having the Pegasus there.

in the origional series the peggy got creamed almost as soon as it joined the fleet by only two base stars this was much better

That Raptors jumping away were in the clip. But since there was no actual sound from the episode I have no idea if Lee was on one of them.

i read on wiki that vipers sre seen flying outta galacticas starboard flightpod + werent vipers from peg on the gal for that battle and a few left to defend the fleet. i may be wrong if ive read things wrong

It is very likely that since it has been a few months that Galactica and Pegasus decided to share Vipers, Pegasus did after have a limited Viper production capability. And I have no doubt that there were Vipers coming out of the Starboard flight pod, I saw it, but maybe they can still launch there, just not land.

it says in the miniseries that the starboard flyt pod launch pods were not able to be used as they had been converted into a gift shop. they musta fixed it all after the peggy joined the fleet

Incorrect, watch the first episode or two of Season 2. There was still glass covering the flight pod when the heavy raider crashed into it.

most likely after pegasus came. in scar its is said that they would have enough resourses for 2 squadrons of vipers but why couldnt they have used this time to fix up the flightpod so put a squadron of vipers into. in the rest of teh series the flightpod is not seen at anypoint to disprove this.

I haven't been watching the series at all but that scene has got to be the best thing I have seen since the Camelot Battle in SG-1.

Mosst impressive moment was after all the refugees arrived in Galactica's hnagar, when Adama was celebrated as hero of the hour and Kara Thrace and Saul Tigh were the only ones that could not really be happy. (understandable)

I really enjoy the CGIs of this show, but I enjoy even more the characters. BSG has the best Character (developments) since Babylon 5!


Well, that Lee Adama survives, is quite logic, as per "Rules of Writing a TV Show" :wink: . They can't kill him off, can they?
